Despite being the away team, our second game of the season kicked off at Redvales. After a poor performance the lads trailed 2-0 going into HT. A very constructive team talk followed and a fired up Holcombe started the second half flying. A couple minutes in saw a perfect corner from Jack headed home by Sam, before the lads quickly equalised after another header from Sam was rebounded and fired home by Elliott from close range. The lads continued to fight hard for the win, but unfortunately GTAS went back ahead to make it 3-2. Despite this, Holcombe responded brilliantly yet again after a well worked team goal saw Harry square the ball to Sam who put in the net to equalise. The final minutes of the game was end to end which could’ve seen either team win it. However, the lads had to settle for a hard earned point. Thanks to GTAS for the game and good luck for the season!

First game of the season and a well deserved win! The lads started the game looking good in the new kit and had the performance to match it, going 3-0 up in the first 13 mins, then dominating the rest of the first half. The game was seen out in the second half ending in 4-2 victory! Thanks to the opposition and good luck for the season.
