We’ve had a few people asking…

Every finisher receives an official The Descent medal.

The event T-shirt is an optional extra.

For The Descent 2027, the official event shirts will be just £15.00, but they’re not available to order just yet.

Shirt orders will open from late August, when you’ll be able to add one to your existing entry.

Don’t worry… we’ll make plenty of noise when they’re available!

A few more places have just become available for The Descent 2027!

Last night, during one of our routine checks, we discovered a technical issue that had mistakenly allowed a single entry to reserve multiple places.

The issue has now been fully resolved and measures have been put in place to ensure it can’t happen again.

The good news?

Those places have now been released, and everyone currently on the waiting list has been sent an invitation to enter.

If you’ve been waiting for your chance, check your inbox (and your junk folder just in case) and don’t hang around… we don’t expect these places to be available for long!

At RunAble, we've never been afraid to do things differently.

Over the years we've introduced ideas that have gone on to become familiar sights at events far beyond our own. We don't see that as a bad thing, if anything, it's a compliment. It means we've helped move the sport forward.

Not every idea has stood the test of time, and that's okay too. Innovation is about trying new things, learning, improving and never standing still.

That's exactly what we've been working on again.

In just a couple of weeks, we'll be revealing something brand new that will begin appearing across our events.

We think it's a little different.

We think runners are going to love it.

And, if history is anything to go by... we'll be interested to see how long it takes before it starts appearing elsewhere. 😉

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteer team who helped make Friday evening such a success.

From our two bus drivers, our water station monitor, the registration team and the finish line crew, every single one of you played a part in delivering an event we’re incredibly proud of.

Seeing 68 people already signed up for 2027, with just 32 places remaining, is a wonderful reminder that all of your hard work really does make a difference.

We’re now at 65 entries.

That means there are just 35 places remaining for The Descent 2027.

The Descent isn’t just a fast downhill… it’s a fast sell-out too.

If you’re planning on joining us next June, don’t leave it too long. Once those final 35 places are gone, that’s it.

We only opened entries for The Descent 2027 at 22:00 last night…

By 12:55 today, 52 runners have already secured their place! 🤯

The support has been incredible, and seeing entries continue to arrive throughout the morning has genuinely blown us away.
