We are delighted to welcome back the British Powerlifting Union hosting one of 14 different competitions at FUT XPO Midlands this November!
The Powerlifting Games allows competitors to qualify for this national level event which a little less daunting than the British, and compete on a professional stage, in front of 1000s of people and try to win their class for the chance to compete at the A/BPU Full Power British and Single Lifts British in 2027. Only the winner will take that invitation.
They run the competition on the basis that they have many competitors who are relatively new to powerlifting, coming back from injury or just missed the qualifying total for the British, so for many this is an important national level competition.
Staff are all aware of the importance of the competition for the lifters and try to provide guidance, reassurance and help throughout whilst still maintaining the British standards and refereeing from truly experience competitive staff.
Qualifiers run from November 2025 through to September 2026 with the entries closing on the 1st October.
Huge thank you to the amazing team at the BPU who continue to host top level and fantastically run competitions at FIT XPO year after year!
