A great honor for Mr. Florin Macovei, President of FRVV, to attend the Vietnam–Romania Friendship Concert and Reception hosted by H.E. Mr. Le Vinh Thang, Ambassador of Vietnam, on August 18, 2026, at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest.

The evening featured the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, with an outstanding lineup of Vietnamese and Romanian artists, celebrating the strong cultural ties and friendship between our two countries. 🎶🇻🇳🇷🇴

The FRVV archives preserve precious memories from previous National Day celebrations, with Mr. Macovei alongside Their Excellencies, the Ambassadors of Vietnam to Romania: Mr. Tran Thanh Cong (2018), Mr. Dang Tran Phong (2019), and Mr. Do Duc Thanh (2022).

As part of the ambitious training program overseen by the Algerian Federation of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao, which aims to elevate the technical level of athletes and coaches, enable them to advance in the sporting hierarchy by acquiring the necessary academic and practical qualifications, and in activation of the continuous development strategy adopted by the federation , the Algerian Federation, under the high patronage of the African Vovinam Federation and with prior approval from the Algerian Ministry of Sports, supervised the organization of the fourth batch of the examination for obtaining the rank of fourth degree (Assistant Master).

The Fouka Centre for Gathering and Preparing the Sports Elite hosted this prominent event over two days, the 19th and 20th of July 2026. The examination witnessed a qualitative attendance represented by the Deputy Technical Director of the African Federation, Master Mamadou Diop, holder of the sixth degree, which lent the event a continental character and a high professional dimension.

Regarding the scheduled program, the first day (July 19th) was designated as a purely academic scientific station, dedicated to discussing the research papers and graduation dissertations of the candidates, numbering 12 candidates in total, comprising 11 male candidates alongside the sole female candidate, Ms. Sonia Bouharaoua, who stood as a model of the Algerian woman boldly breaking into this field with great competence.

On the morning of the second day (July 20th), the committee moved on to the applied aspect through the field technical examination, which measured the candidates' readiness and their physical and technical abilities. This path culminated in the evening of the same day with a joyful and solemn ceremony to confer ranks and award certificates to the successful candidates, in appreciation of their dedication and competence.

All stages of this examination were conducted under the direct and meticulous supervision of Master Mohamed DJOUADJ , who holds the positions of President of the Algerian Federation of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao, President of the African Vovinam Federation, and Secretary-General of the World Vovinam Federation. He praised the high organizational level and the distinguished participation, which reflects the advanced standing of Algerian sports in international arenas.

We ask God to crown these efforts with success, and that this step will serve as a strong driving force to enhance national competencies and raise Algeria's name high in the firmament of combat sports.

On the morning of July 19, 2026, at the Vovinam Founder's Shrine in Ho Chi Minh City, Master Tran Van My, Chief of Managing Masters of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao School and Vice President of the World Vovinam Federation (WVVF), warmly welcomed Ms. Yayuk Padmi Rahayu -President of Pencak Silat Perisai Putih Indonesia -Vice President of Pencak Silat Federation- Vice President of the World Organization of Martial Arts Masters (WOMAU), during her courtesy visit to Vietnam while attending the 10th Asian Pencak Silat Championship in D**g Nai Province.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, providing an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on the development of Vovinam and Pencak Silat, as well as to discuss future cooperation, martial arts exchanges, and stronger connections among martial arts organizations across the region.

The courtesy visit not only strengthened the friendship between Vovinam and Pencak Silat Perisai Putih Indonesia, but also reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Asian martial arts community to unity, cooperation, and sustainable development, while promoting the cultural values and martial spirit of traditional martial arts to the international community.

On Sunday, the President of the Algerian Vovinam Federation, General secretary of WFFV, Mr. , chaired a coordination meeting at the federation's headquarters located in Dar El Beida, which brought together exutive members, along with a number of stakeholders invested in the Vovinam World Championship, including journalists, infographic designers, and representatives of communication and media agencies, as part of the preparations for the World Championship.

This meeting served as an opportunity to discuss various organizational and media aspects, and to establish a joint action plan to ensure the coordination of efforts and the delivery of professional coverage befitting the significance of this global sporting event, thereby reflecting the prestigious standing of Algerian Vovinam Federation.
