After you’ve delivered your speech, you hear applauses, then… you think it’s done. But actually, what will make you stand out is to ask yourself : how can I make it better ?

I have been working on a speech about “an invitation to a wedding” for the World Championship contest of Public Speaking. After 2 months, I’m on my 22nd version of it.

Because it takes time, discipline and humility. To ask for feedback, listen to each of them and screen to incorporate the best of them.

It takes the courage to let go some lines that we love soooo much, for better lines that connect stronger with the audience. And yes, that’s tough to let go.

It takes all of our best ability to reflect, watch dozens of recording, and self analyze. Reflecting on the depth of our story, emotion and the message we want to convey.

Interpreting how audience listen and how our message lands to people’s ear is not easy task. But to make a better speech, we need to rewrite it and try different ways of saying the same story over and over but as if it’s the first time we told it.

That’s why a speech is a lifetime refinement. And I invite you to rewrite your stories.

Insightful Sharing was honored to deliver an inspiring workshop on Innovation for more than 100 students at Ho Chi Minh City Open University.

Throughout the session, participants explored:

🟢 How New Product Development (NPD) works in the corporate world—from idea to market
🟢 The mindset and habits that drive successful innovators
🟢 Real-world case studies showing how consumer insights and curiosity spark breakthrough innovations

What made the session truly memorable was the enthusiasm in the room. The students asked thoughtful questions, actively participated in discussions, and brought incredible energy throughout the workshop.

At Insightful Sharing, we believe that meaningful learning goes beyond sharing knowledge—it inspires people to see new possibilities for themselves. We hope this workshop has encouraged participants to think differently, embrace curiosity, and perhaps even discover a future career path in innovation.

A heartfelt thank you to Ho Chi Minh City Open University for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful learning experience. We look forward to empowering more students and professionals through transformative learning journeys.

As a storyteller, I also get the opportunity to listen to a lot of wonderful stories. Some inspire me, some move me, some make me laugh. But the ones that stay in me are the ones that change me with an action.

One tip I got from a world champion of public speaking, he said : “your speech is great. And, so what ? What I’m gonna do after listening to your speech?”

The “so what?” really puzzled me. Since then, I try to tell story that answer this question. Stories that not only makes my audience feel something. But do something. Stories with a message that are useful for them.

What an inspiring morning!

Insightful Sharing was honored to co-host this interactive workshop alongside Hoa Sen University (HSU) and Area V4 Toastmasters, bringing together students and young professionals eager to strengthen their communication skills and confidence.

Through a 100% English learning environment, participants explored practical tools to communicate more effectively, build meaningful connections, and express themselves with greater confidence.
