University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Men's Basketball Head Coach Kevin Sheppard and junior guard Chad Molloy returned to campus as silver medalists after representing the U.S. Virgin Islands at the 2026 International University Sports Federation (FISU) America Games in Lima, Peru.

Sarai Hodge

Hodge is a 5-foot-4 guard from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. This incoming freshman joins the Lady Buccaneers from Charlotte Amalie High School, where she was named the team’s Defensive Player of the Year during the 2025–26 season. Additionally, this scholar-athlete graduated third overall in her high school class at CAHS.

Khaleis London

London, a 5-foot-10 forward from Bay Shore, NY, is transferring from Southwest Tennessee Community College. Last Season, she recorded 146 points, 148 rebounds, and 18 blocks as a Freshman.
During the 2024-25 season, she was honored as the Female Athlete of the Year at Bay Shore High School and was recognized as one of Newsday's Top 100 Long Island Girls Basketball Players. Additionally, she earned a selection to the PAL Girls Basketball All-Star Game.

Destiny Bishop

Bishop is a 5-foot-9 guard from Bay Shore, New York, transferring to UVI from Five Towns College in Dix Hills,NY where she averaged 7.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists.

A'Nesha Deterville is a dual-sport athlete from St. Croix, Virgin Islands. The 5-foot-3 guard will now shift her focus to the Lady Buccaneers basketball program after winning multiple MVP trophies and leading her team while suiting up for the Caribs of Central High School.

The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) has earned the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Champions of Character Five-Star Institution Award for the third consecutive year, receiving the honor for the 2025–26 academic year.

Marcia Bastien

Bastien is an incoming freshman and a native Virgin Islander from the island of St. Thomas. This 5-foot-4 athlete completed a triple sweep at the 2026 St. Thomas–St. John IAA Track and Field Championships, capturing first place in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, and long jump.
