⚾ YC Youth Baseball Needs YOU! 🐯

We’re getting ready for another great season, and we’d love to see more parents, grandparents, former players, and community members get involved with YC Youth Baseball!

Join us for a casual Meet & Greet on Tuesday, September 29 at 7:00 PM at Fireside Tavern. This is a chance to meet the current board, learn how the program works, ask questions, and hear more about the different ways you can help.

You do not need baseball experience or prior board experience to get involved. And please don’t be afraid to step into a position that feels unfamiliar — you won’t be expected to figure it out on your own. Our current board members will be there to help, answer questions, train you, and support you along the way. We want new people to feel comfortable learning as they go.

If you care about our kids and want to help build a strong youth baseball program in our community, we’d love to have you involved. 🧡🖤

We currently have several opportunities available:

President
Equipment Coordinator
Fields Manager
Player/Coach Development
Volunteer Coordinator
Sponsorship, Marketing & Fundraising
Social Media

We’re also looking for people interested in cross-training with our Instructional League and Competitive League directors, so they can learn those roles with support before eventually stepping into them.

📅 Applications for open positions are due October 13.
🗳️ Voting will take place at the October 20 board meeting at the Intermediate School.

Applying is simple — just email YC Youth Baseball with a brief description of why you’d like to join and what you’re looking forward to contributing.

Even if you’re not sure a board position is for you, come meet us anyway! Ask questions, learn more, and see where you might fit. There are plenty of ways to help without taking on a board position.

You don’t have to know everything before you volunteer — you just have to be willing to learn and care about the program. We’ll help with the rest.

⚾ Hello, Baseball Community! ⚾

We will be holding a YCYB Board Meeting next Tuesday, August 25th at 6:00 PM at the Upper Park in Carlton. Anyone interested in getting involved is encouraged to attend!

We currently have several vacant board positions, as well as a few positions that will be opening for next year. This year was a great year for YCYB, and we saw our program continue to grow in both size and quality. To keep that momentum going and make next season just as successful, we need as many of our board positions filled as possible. If you’ve thought about getting involved, this is a great opportunity!

A big thank you to everyone who signed up for Fall Ball through the Newberg league! Michelle has created TeamReach pages for each team and will be emailing additional information over the next few days, so keep an eye out.

⚾ YC FALL BALL REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Registration is $125/player and includes league fees jersey.
You will NOT be charged when you register. Families will be invoiced once we confirm we have enough players and coaches to form your age group's team.
We need a minimum of 10 players coaches per team, so please register ASAP if your player wants to participate!
Deadline: August 19

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, payment will be collected after team formation.
