Due to the impending weather forecast for Saturday, September 19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Clarkson Cookout as scheduled.

We know how much our community looks forward to this event, and we are disappointed that the weather has impacted our plans. The safety and enjoyment of our community, attendees, entertainers, bands, vendors, and staff remain our top priorities.

We are currently working with our entertainment, bands, and vendors to explore the possibility of rescheduling the event. While we do not have a new date confirmed at this time, we will share updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Please continue to check our website, email communications, and social media channels for the latest updates regarding a potential rescheduled date.

Let us help you create a fun, easy, and memorable birthday celebration for your child!

Celebrate at the Northfield Community Center, where we offer a variety of fun party options for children ages 4–10 years old. Park District staff or vetted contractors will help run your party activities and keep everyone busy.

The countdown is on for Clarkson Cookout! 🌟

Join us on Saturday, September 19 for a day of great food, live music, family fun, and community spirit. Enjoy live performances by Bill Grady Band at 4:30 PM and Panic at the Costco at 7 PM. Think you have the best ribs around? Enter the Steve Soler Rib Contest, judged by Hofherr Meat Co.

Grab food and drinks from Stormy's Tavern and Grille, and don't forget to treat yourself to Awesome Mini Donuts and Kona Ice. Kids can enjoy the bounce house, balloon artist, and airbrush tattoos from 4 to 7 PM. Fireworks at dusk!

New Trier Aquatics (NTA) is excited to offer Pre-Competitive Swim Classes and Splashball this fall!

Pre-Competitive Swim Classes
Perfect for newer swimmers looking to build their skills in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment. Swimmers will develop confidence in the water while strengthening their swimming abilities.

Splashball
A fun, step-by-step introduction to the fundamentals of swimming and water polo. Athletes will progressively build important skills while gaining confidence and learning what it takes to become safe, capable swimmers and future competitors.
