PLAYER DRINK OF THE WEEK!

This week we're proud to spotlight Michael “Big Mike” #77 Left Tackle & Team Captain! ❤️🖤

Michael’s senior season didn’t go the way he planned. An off-season injury may have kept him off the field, but it definitely didn’t keep him from being part of this team.

Voted team captain by his teammates, Big Mike has found another way to make an impact encouraging the guys, mentoring the younger linemen, and doing a little unofficial coaching from the sidelines. And with his little brother carrying on the family name on defense, the family is still well represented under those Friday night lights.

That’s what leadership looks like. You don’t need to be the one taking the snaps to make a difference. 💪

🍂 Off the field, Big Mike is a man of fall Halloween and Thanksgiving are his favorite holidays. He loves playing guitar, hunting, and riding his ATV. And if he could pick one superpower? Teleportation.

HOMECOMING FRIDAY!

Clear the schedule, wear your BLACK, and prepare to spend most of Friday somewhere around Winfield. And yes, stop by Common Grounds first. You’re going to need the extra energy. Grab Player of the Week Blake Norton’s Triple Berry Lotus and consider yourself properly fueled for the chaos.

8:30 AM — POWDERPUFF GAME
Juniors vs. Seniors at Winfield High School! Let’s see how our football players handle the role reversal when they have to coach instead of play. Turns out yelling “RUN!” from the sideline may be easier than actually explaining where.

School Assemblies
Several buildings have Homecoming assemblies throughout the morning. Please refer to your school for its specific time.

1:00 PM — HOMECOMING PARADE
Starts at the High School and ends at the Middle School. Remember, there is a NEW parade route this year!

5:30–7:30 PM — TAILGATE
Come hungry, hang out, and get ready for Friday Night Lights!

6:15–6:30 PM — TRIBE FOOTBALL & CHEER
Meet behind the weight room for pregame activities with the Warriors.

7:00 PM — KICKOFF
Our Winfield Warriors take on the Mark Twain Tigers!

HALFTIME — HOMECOMING COURT
Stick around for the Homecoming Court announcements!

And don’t forget — IT’S A BLACKOUT!

Come dressed in black, fill those stands, get loud, and show these kids what Warrior Nation looks like on Homecoming night.

It’s HOMECOMING WEEK in Winfield, and this week we’re proud to spotlight Blake!

Blake is a true leader on and off the field. He brings toughness, intensity, and a never-back-down mentality every time he steps between the lines. He leads by example, battles through adversity, and is exactly the kind of teammate you want beside you when the game gets tough. 💪🏈

When he’s not putting in work on the field, Blake enjoys fishing, 4-wheeling, and hanging out with his boys. He’s known for being witty, keeping everyone laughing, and always clowning around.

And if he could have one superpower? ⚡ Super speed like The Flash!

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to introduce this week’s Winfield Warrior Senior Spotlight! 💛🖤

This week, we’re celebrating Isaac Johnson #61!

Isaac is the oldest of three boys, so he’s had plenty of practice being in charge. 😄 When he’s not on the field, you’ll probably find him at a tractor pull with his dad or with a fishing pole in his hand, give him a spot to fish, and he’s good for the whole day. 🎣

After graduation, Isaac is considering tech school or heading straight into the workforce. And if he could pick one superpower? Flight. 🦸‍♂️
