So proud of our girls! The weather didn’t cooperate with us to play all our games but the girls did really well. We went to bracket games 1-1 in silver bracket. We won our first bracket game 13-0 with a no hitter and a grand slam! Our girls were on fire from top to bottom. We started our championship game only for it to be called due to lightning.

Due to cancellation rules and us being the lower seed, we were automatically runner up. We could not have been more proud of our girls and wanted nothing more than the championship these girls deserved. Due to the storms, we couldn’t get a picture, but nonetheless, these girls played their hearts out and did amazing in this heat!

As a coach, you preach heart, dedication, and effort. You try to instill drive and passion. As a coach, all I can say is I’m humbled, proud, and honored to coach these girls. They have so much heart and love of the game. They played 5 games back to back to back today and ended up second in gold bracket. We came up a little short of gas at the end of the day, but never short of heart or effort. They left everything on the field.

This little team has won my coaching heart and made me the proudest coach alive! Go Storm!!!!
