Practice plans for the next few practices.
Tomorrow 7/9: 9th street trails at 7pm
Saturday 7/11 : PDC meeting in the pavilion parking lot. 8am
Tuesday 7/14: The trails at Buffalo Hill 7pm

With trails in the canyon closed today, we’re moving our evening ride to the trails at Buffalo Hill. Riding at 6:30.

Tomorrow’s forecast is still calling for high temperatures in the canyon. That kind of heat won’t be enjoyable for our riders so we’re canceling our ride plans for tomorrow afternoon.
We will plan on riding Thursday evening down in the canyon at 6:30 and meet at the Soapberry parking lot.

Tuesday July 7th we’re kicking off our NM season with a skills and game session at Belmar park at 7pm. We will also start back with our Tuesday/Thursday evening and. Saturday morning schedule that week.

Currently forecasting a 70% chance of storms during our scheduled ride with the temperature currently at 100. We are canceling the ride scheduled for this evening.
Stay tuned to see what happens for Sunday’s ride.

Mother nature is going to be active this week so our plans will have to be flexible.
Currently the plan is to ride Thursday evening at 6:30 in the canyon meeting at the pavilion parking lot. There’s a going away get together for Erin Reedy at the Shephard’s cabins at 8 for anyone wanting to see her off on her next adventure.

Sunday is currently looking extremely hot in the canyon. If it stays as forecast, we won’t practice. If the temperatures drop, we will ride in the Canyon 3-5 and meet at Soapberry. I’ll post a decision on Saturday.

Not the picture out in the canyon today! They received over an inch of rain last night and the trails we would ride are currently closed. We are canceling our ride today and will plan on riding Thursday evening at 6 pm at Buffalo Hills and we will hopefully get back to the canyon next Sunday afternoon to ride.

Tomorrow’s going to be warm but better than today! We’re going to ride the trails in Westcliff. We’ll meet at the tennis courts parking lot and ride from there. This will give us some shady sections as well as never being too far from parking. I’ll post location in the comments.

The rain over the last couple of days has closed the trails in the canyon so we are going to cancel practice plans for today. It’s going to be hot and the other trails, if dry, wouldn’t provide any shade.
I will post Thursdays plans in the next day or two as we look at weather and figure out the best trails to ride.

We will plan on being in the canyon next Sunday 3-5 riding shaded trails..

We had a number of NICA students help out with the kids races at this last weekend as well as having a number of our club kids racing! I hope everyone enjoyed it! I sure did.
Practice plans for this week. Keeping potential weather in mind. We are planning on riding at Buffalo Hills trails Thursday evening at 6pm.

Sunday afternoon at 3pm we are planning on riding in PDC and staying on the shaded trails. We will meet at the pavilion parking lot. Rain chances could alter our plans if trails get closed so stay tuned for possible updates!

For anyone in town for the weekend, we will be having a ride tomorrow afternoon ( 5/24) at 3pm in Palo Duro Canyon State Park. We’re meeting in the pavilion parking lot. It’s going to be warm so make sure to bring plenty of water and be hydrating ahead of time.
