Shows begin at 10:30 a.m. Check in at the main lodge 20 minutes before the show to purchase tickets. No reservations required.

Note: If there is a good chance of rain, we will host the Wildlife Show in the Pavilion. If there is a chance for storms (with higher winds and lightning) we might cancel the show for the safety of our guests and animal stars. Check the website or call for updates.

It has been HOT out there! Good thing we are in the tree canopy with the wind rushing past us down the zip lines!

The historic district sign has arrived 🥹 It has been a long wait for the area to get the recognition it deserves and the sign makes it feel real.

This important designation recognizes the remarkable legacy of industry, innovation, and engineering that shaped this special place from the 1840s through the 1970s and ensures that this nationally significant landscape will be preserved, studied, and shared for generations to come.

We invite you to hike our trails and explore the ruins of the industrial complex that once dominated our stretch of Snake Creek Gorge. Part of our trail system even follows the historic water raceways that once supplied the cotton and paper mills with tremendous power. It is all up to us to keep this area in good shape, so we ask for hikers to pay $7 for a day pass (fee waived for lodging & adventure guests).
