Thanks to our sponsor , We were able to afford to get Cam some new shoes. This greatly helps improve accuracy and consistency with throws. Cam’s lethal takeouts are going to be that much better. We are currently 6-2 this season and at the top of our league. We are taking a 3 week break while the world speed skating championship is in town before we return to the ice. In the meantime, we are excited for new things coming down the line. Stay tuned for more consistent postings, new uniforms, and some epic curling content. As always thank you for your support.

We are a group of four friends who first discovered curling during the 2022 Beijing Winter Games. Intrigued by the sport, we quickly signed up for a “Learn to Curl” night at our local arena. From that moment, we were hooked, and our curling journey began.
Most newcomers start with a “learner’s league” to get familiar with the rules, etiquette, and strategy alongside others at a similar skill level. We, however, jumped straight into the regular league, bypassing the learning phase entirely. We made plenty of mistakes early on—misunderstanding rules and etiquette—but we embraced every challenge. Sporting bright pink shirts and the name “Holy Sheets,” we celebrated our roots while adding a playful, spirited vibe to the game. Despite our inexperience, we drew a lot of attention with our enthusiasm and noise, winning only a couple of matches in our first season.But our initial struggles didn’t dampen our enthusiasm. What began as a fun way to spend time together as friends quickly evolved into a deeper passion. We started participating in bonspiels, studying the game, and rapidly improving our skills. As we became more competitive, our once-rambunctious nature, which initially drew some criticism, became a highlight for our opponents, who started looking forward to playing against us. We transformed the league’s atmosphere—what was once quiet and serious became more lively and fun. Inspired by our bright jerseys, other teams began adopting their own unique uniforms and flair.
We aren’t your typical curling team, and that’s what makes us special. Josh has mastered the art of throwing guards and corner shots, making him an elite first thrower. John is versatile, excelling in precision takeouts, draws, and guard weight, fitting anywhere in the throwing order. Cam, a strong sweeper, is essential for the first two throwers’ success, with reliable takeouts and a rare tendency to miss twice. Skyler, who thrives on strategy, delivers clutch shots, making him an excellent skip. Your support for the Holy Sheets is crucial to our journey, and we sincerely thank you for your love and encouragement. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!

About Us

Off the ice, we all work in law enforcement and are committed to giving back to our community through volunteer and outreach efforts. Each of us has a specific role and responsibility on the team, and we execute them well. As we continue dedicating time to curling, our success grows, and we set our sights even higher.
