Balling on the Beach 2026.

After a successful campaign in Orlando, These boys made their return to BotB after 4 years. They battled teams from Virginia, Texas, and Maryland. Beating an Under Armour team in their first game Friday night, and turning around the next day and fought to the end only going down by four possessions to a New Balance P32 RL9 team featuring two 6’10 giants and the Neuman brothers in THE CAGE in front of a ton of eyes.

And for me that is one of the biggest W’s of this weekend - that people got to see the same tough, smart, hard working, talented, and fearless team that I’ve seen grow for years.

And grow they did. Competed…Learned…and Grew.

Proud of them and their toughness, hard-work, and dedication.

AAU Memorial Day Classic 16u GOLD Division UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONS!!!!!

What an incredible weekend for these Cru boys! Going 5-0 defeating everyone that stepped in front of them, these boys went through the gamut to capture their first AAU Disney Championship! They played for each other all weekend and made play after play, never folding on each other when things eventually didn’t go our way. Whether it was Jimmy’s clutch free throws and tough lays for game, Ryan being a two-way nightmare all weekend w an added OT clutch three in the chip, Josh’s defensive energy and confident shooting, Justin finding a way to hit a big three in every game (even from the ft line), Julian battling through an illness to help his team any way he could, B’s leak out demon game, Bryan being a TANK in the paint , or Roman’s hot shooting and tough ballhandling (also 30 piece in the semis????), ALL these guys had a chance to shine this weekend! We see you five.

Recently we started a mentorship program where each member of our 16u team was matched up with a member of our middle school squad. Big dawg/Lil’Dawg

This is Max with his “Big Dawg” Bryan. They got some work in together over the weekend.

Building more than just players over here. It’s bigs looking out for littles, older guys setting the example, learning to be a part@of@something bigger than themselves, helping the next guy grow, and everybody helping raise the standard.

3-1 this weekend in Wellington (including a standout game with a nice Jupiter Jaguars squad). These boys stuck to the plan and ran the floor, stayed aggressive + relentless, and showed tremendous growth in their communication and how they held each other accountable. Pushed each other, and the rock, all weekend.

This Cru took the court this weekend for their first tourney at The Beach tournament. Played fast, played tough defense, and played for each other. Laid the foundation for who they are going to be as a squad. Got great reps and battled with good DB Hoops and Florida Elite teams, then beat who was in front of them and came away with a championship 😤

Special group that I couldn’t be prouder of.

Wishing a MASSIVE 18th Birthday!!!!!

Hell of a basketball journey for this guy! Been with us since 6th grade and has done nothing but be a problem in the paint, with Jokic-like court vision and a knack for knocking down big threes (Killian can tell you). Even reaching a 1000 career High School points milestone!!!!But more importantly AP is an amazing young man, teammate, and friend.

He’s going to kill whatever comes next for him and we couldn’t be any prouder of him! Who knows, maybe we’ll see him in the sideline leading the next generation of Crusaders one day…

Told these guys around Thanksgiving that a lot of teams throw the word “family” around pretty loosely. It’s in their huddle breaks, on the back of their warmups, and all over their social media. But these special young men and their amazing families have lived it since I met them.

They have been some of the reasons why I still do this. It’s crazy we are almost at the finish line!

BIG Happy 18th Birthday to .marquez1 !!!

Christian has always said more with his effort and his work ethic than his words. He’s come a long way in his basketball journey. From rec teams to JV MVP to Varsity Viper. I’ve watched Christian not just in height, not just on the court, but as an incredible young man that any coach would be lucky to have. Happy the universe brought him back to us in 8th grade and we never looked back. Primed to finish his Senior year strong!!! Proud of this kid more than he knows.

BIG Happy 18th Birthday!!!

We’ve had the opportunity to watch Eddie grow from “Storm” to 3-year Varsity player for Varela HS, and everywhere in between. As he’s grown and gotten older he’s never stopped carrying himself with humility, heart, toughness, hustle, and a willingness to do whatever he can to help his teammates and coaches. While sometimes also willing to throw an elbow into somebody’s chest. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to coach such a special young man! Proud of him beyond words.
