Bentley S Leads Icons Baseball 11U Past Oak Hills Jessie

Bentley S collected three hits in three at bats, as Icons Baseball 11U defeated Oak Hills Jessie 18-4 on Friday at TCYO. Bentley singled in the second inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.
Icons Baseball 11U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kelly S singled, scoring one run, Chuck T singled, scoring one run, Wesley C singled, scoring one run, Thomas C singled, scoring two runs, Dallas O singled, scoring one run, and Cuinn C doubled, scoring two runs.
Icons Baseball 11U added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Bentley singled, and Thomas grounded out, each scoring one run.
Icons Baseball 11U scored eight runs on four hits in the top of the third inning. Kelly singled, scoring three runs, Thomas drew a walk, scoring one run, Dallas singled, scoring two runs, Frankie R drew a walk, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run.
Frankie stepped on the hill first for Icons Baseball 11U. The starter allowed three hits and three runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking three. Nathan W appeared in relief for Icons Baseball 11U.
Icons Baseball 11U accumulated 15 hits in the game. Bentley and Chuck were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Icons Baseball 11U. Thomas led Icons Baseball 11U with four runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Kelly and Dallas each collected multiple hits for Icons Baseball 11U. Frankie led Icons Baseball 11U with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Bentley, Frankie, and Grant E each stole multiple bases for Icons Baseball 11U. Icons Baseball 11U ran wild on the base paths, tallying 13 stolen bases for the game. Icons Baseball 11U turned one double play in the game.
#6, #11, and #40 each drove in one run for Oak Hills Jessie. #44 led Oak Hills Jessie with two hits in two at bats. #44 stole two bases.
