September 5, 2026: Cornerstone Lakes Parkrun Event #175

26 runners/walkers and 8 volunteers participated in today's event. It may have been hot and muggy, but at least it was overcast with a bit of a breeze.

Brian and Suzanne were first place male and female. Brian also achieved his 50th Milestone. Speaking of milestones, Daphne's 10th Junior Milestone snuck past us. Congrats, Daphne. Andy is now just one parkrun away from the big 5-0. Liuan and Steve both achieved PBs, which is extra impressive given the weather. Pam and Mila visited Cornerstone Lakes for the first time, and Pam was visiting from Australia. Hilton from South Africa completed his ninth Cornerstone Lakes parkrun. We all admired his custom parkrun t-shirt, and might need to find out if they ship to the U.S.

A big THANK YOU to our volunteers, Brian, Kristen, Liuan, Lucy, Melissa, Nerina, Pam, and Rolf. This event can't happen without its volunteers. 📣Help!📣 A few of our regulars will be attending another event this coming Saturday. We need some extra help, but the good news is that Run Director is covered!
