🔥🥎 NTX H.E.A.T. IS LOOKING TO ADD TO OUR COACHING STAFF!🥎🔥

2026–2027 season, NTX H.E.A.T. Fastpitch Softball is looking to add 1–2 Assistant Coaches to our 10U & 12U teams.

We are a first-year 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on something bigger than trophies and rings. Our goal is to develop young athletes both ON and OFF the field, building confident, coachable, resilient players while teaching accountability, teamwork, character, and a strong mental approach to the game.

💗 WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
• Has previous coaching experience OR a softball playing background
• Can bring additional knowledge in pitching/outfield, hitting/infield, and/or the mental side of the game
• Is dependable, positive, communicative, and willing to work collaboratively with our coaching staff
• Believes in player development over chasing rings
• Wants to mentor young athletes and help build something special from the ground up

🥎 These are currently VOLUNTEER/UNPAID coaching positions.

For the right person, there is also potential to move into a Head Coach position down the road as our organization continues to grow.

We aren't looking for someone who simply wants to stand in a dugout. We want coaches who are ready to teach, lead, mentor, learn, and invest in these athletes.

🥎 10U TOURNAMENT RECAP | LEARN. GROW. DEVELOP.🥎

This weekend gave both our coaches and players some valuable learning lessons. Not every game went the way we wanted, but every inning showed us something we can take back to the practice field, work on, and get better at.

We also have to keep things in perspective. We’re a brand-new organization with a brand-new team, and these girls had never played together before coming together for H.E.A.T. Building chemistry, confidence, communication, and trust doesn’t happen overnight, it comes with time and reps.

Even through the tough moments, there were some really good plays and moments that made our coaching staff proud. These girls battled through the heat and kept competing. 💪🥎

Now it’s time for the coaches to go back to the drawing board. This week at practice, we’re getting back to work with a big focus on building confidence in the batter’s box and in the field. We’ll work on being more aggressive, communicating, trusting ourselves, and learning how to reset when things don’t go our way.

For this team, one of the biggest keys is simply to KEEP PLAYING. The more innings we play, the more game situations we experience, and the more opportunities these girls have to learn, the more we’ll develop as individuals and as a team.

We’re not looking for perfection overnight. We’re building from the ground up, and development takes time.

Overall, we’re very proud of these girls. Now we take what we learned, get back to work, and keep building.

🔥🥎 THE SUN WAS HOT… BUT THE H.E.A.T. IS JUST GETTING STARTED.🥎🔥

DAY 2. NEW DAY. NEW ENERGY. TIME TO BOUNCE BACK.💪🩷🩵

Yesterday tested us. It was HOT ☀️, it was long, and it gave us plenty to learn from. But that’s what this game and this team is all about.

We learn. We adjust. We pick each other up. And then WE COME BACK STRONGER.🔥

These girls are learning that being a team means sticking together through the highs AND the lows. We win together. We learn together. We grow together.

More than teammates. We’re becoming a FAMILY.🫶🥎

Today we reset, trust each other, bring the energy, and play OUR game!

It’s been a journey to get to this point. Now it’s all coming together and we are so blessed for everyone that has supported and stuck by us.

It truly takes a village and we are so thankful.

10U debuts in their first tournament this weekend and kicks off our inaugural season.

Please raise up our players, coaches, and families and those of our competitors as we head out this weekend.
