Tonight we had the honor to be part of the moment when our very own Walker Sutman signed his National Letter of Intent. Walker was joined by his family, friends, and the great Waterford community, to officially accept an athletic scholarship to attend Fairfield University.

Sutman grew up playing baseball for Waterford South LL and the Waterford Babe Ruth League before joining the Legion program. He has always been held in the highest esteem by everyone that has the privilege to know him. He is a product of great parents who are both, exceptional educators and coaches. They have done a fantastic job raising a great young man, giving him all of the tools needed to succeed at the next level and in life.

Walker is an extremely gifted baseball player leading Waterford High School Baseball to a Class M State Title and the our Legion team to a CT State Legion Super Regional tournament appearance this past season. Walker will be a great addition to the Stag's pitching staff.

The Fairfield Stags have a true Student-Athlete coming their way! Walker always

American Legion announces new rules for the upcoming season.... the National Headquarters are leaving a lot of rule changes up to the States to choose to follow. Others rules were already being followed by Connecticut this past season.

National tournament moves to seven innings, states may allow re-entry and courtesy runner in regular season play, plus more.
