To Our Members, Players, Families, and Friends,
After many wonderful years serving the Washington, DC tennis community, our contract with the National Park Service (NPS) has ended, and we are no longer operating Rock Creek Tennis Center.
It has been an honor and privilege to serve you. Rock Creek Tennis Center has always been more than just a place to play tennis—it has been a community where friendships were formed; children learned about the game, players competed and improved, and countless memories were created both on and off the courts.
We are deeply grateful to every member, player, parent, junior, tennis professional, staff member, and friend who has been part of this incredible community. Thank you for your loyalty, friendship, and support throughout the years.
At this time, we do not have information regarding when a new operator will begin operations or when Rock Creek Tennis Center will reopen to the public. Future information regarding reopening, court reservations, lessons, and programs will be provided by the National Park Service or the new operator.
Although our time operating Rock Creek Tennis Center has come to an end, the friendships and memories we created together will always remain.
Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you and for being part of the Rock Creek Tennis Center family.

The Rock Creek Tennis Center surrounds William H.G. Fitzgerald Tennis Stadium, home of Citi Open Ten The hard courts are lighted and are available until close.
Fitzgerald Tennis Stadium, home of the Legg Mason Tennis Classic, an ATP Tour Event. The facility has a total of 25 outdoor tennis courts: 15 hard courts and 10 clay courts. Five indoor courts are heated and available during the winter season. Clay courts are available in the spring and summer until 8:00 pm.

The U.S. dominated the match from start to finish, controlling possession, creating scoring opportunities, and showing great intensity throughout the entire game. It was a complete team performance, with excellent attacking play, strong midfield control, and a solid defensive effort. A well-deserved victory and one of their most impressive performances in recent memory.

Due to the expected severe thunderstorms moving through the Washington, DC region this afternoon and evening, Rock Creek Tennis Center will close at 1:00 PM today.
All after-school junior programs and adult tennis programs scheduled for this evening have been canceled for the safety of our players and staff.

Tennis Bubble Structure Update – Rock Creek Tennis Center
As part of preparations for the upcoming Citi Open Tennis Tournament, the tennis bubble structure at Rock Creek Tennis Center was successfully deflated and taken down early yesterday morning by a crew of approximately 25–30 workers.
The crew will return early morning today to remove the anchor system and complete the remaining dismantling process.
We anticipate that the courts previously covered by the bubble will be ready for outdoor play by Sunday or Monday, weather and conditions permitting.
