Knox was busy between the woodwork during the opening week of Howard's 2026 season. The two-time NEC Goalkeeper of the Year tallied 17 saves in Howard's two draws against George Washington and Hampton last week. Knox made nine saves and kept a clean sheet against George Washington on Thursday, and followed that up with an eight-save effort in a 1-1 result against Hampton in the HBCU Invitational on Sunday. Knox is the league's early leader in save percentage, maintaining a .944 percentage through two matches.

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (November 5, 2025) – The NEC uncovered its women's soccer postseason honors and major awards where Howard University saw four Bison recognized for their incredible performances during the 2025 regular season. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon.

Second-year Bison Gabriella Garcia-Terrell (Centreville, Va.) made the All-NEC First Team for the second straight year after leading HU in scoring (13 points). The 2024 NEC Rookie of the Year produced six goals for Howard.

Graduate defender Rachel Suttle (Smyrna, Ga.), senior defender Bre'Elle Dean (North Ogden, Utah) and junior midfielder Samantha James (Herndon, Va.) each received All-NEC Second Team. A year ago, Suttle and James were selected NEC Defensive Player of the Year and Midfielder of the Year, respectively, while Dean secured a spot on the 2022 All-Rookie Team.
