Family yoga at Breathing Space isn’t just an activity.
It’s intentional time together.
Time to unplug.
Time to move.
Time to reset as a family.
In every class, children build emotional tools.
Parents model calm in real time.
And everyone leaves more connected than when they arrived.
If you’ve been looking for something meaningful to do together — this is it.
✨ Spots are limited. Join us for Family Yoga this week and experience the difference.

Transitions aren’t about behavior, they’re about regulation.
A child who struggles with transitions isn’t “giving you a hard time.”
They’re having a hard time.
And like everything else, transitions get easier with time and support.
They’re not just playing.
They’re learning how to feel, move, and come back to themselves.
In their own way, at their own pace.
Some of the most important things children learn…
they feel first.
Through movement, they explore.
Through play, they understand.
Through connection, they grow.
In our classes, learning doesn’t look like pressure.
It looks like curiosity, confidence, and small moments that stay with them.
Come see what learning can feel like 🤍

Family yoga might look simple on the outside… but what’s happening underneath is so much bigger.
It’s not about poses being perfect. It’s about building something that stays with them long after the class ends.
Connection in the small moments.
Trust in trying (and trying again).
Togetherness that feels safe and real.
Support they can come back to — on and off the mat.
That’s the practice 🤍
Come experience it as a family.

Children don’t need someone telling them to “calm down”
or trying to control the moment
They need someone who stays
and helps them feel safe enough to come back
That’s what we practice here 🤍

Yoga isn’t about making children easier to manage.
It’s about helping them understand their bodies, their emotions, and their responses — over time.
The changes aren’t always immediate.
But they are meaningful.
They look like real people, real moments, real breaths
No pressure to “get it right”
Just space to show up as you are 🤍
Come experience it for yourself.

You can follow Jen and her daughter Maya around the world. Did you notice that Jen isn't on the teaching schedule this session? To celebrate her daughter's high school graduation, they are doing a bucketlist trip to Asia (via Copenhagen and Vancouver to reduce individual flight durations). After a couple of days in Denmark, they moved on to Thailand. Jen posts her travel photos as on Instagram, where you can follow along.
Jen's back on the schedule for Saturdays in July/August with , , and (to be added soon), so don't forget to sign up for your summer classes!

Self-regulation in young children doesn’t look the way most people expect.
It’s not about stillness or silence — it’s about gradually learning how to move through
feelings, with support.
Before children can do it on their own, they need to experience it with us.
