I'm Coach Fard Bell, and many know me today as the founder of Born CEO Academy™ , the only business school of its kind for purpose-driven entrepreneurs.
It's where I now teach youth and adults how to create a full-time income as an entrepreneur on the side of their jobs, so they can buy back their time and pursue their ultimate dream or calling.
But many weren't there to see where I started…
I was 14 years old, my family was on public assistance in Washington, DC, and I was embarrassed almost every day paying for public transportation with 100 pennies in a sandwich bag.
When I stepped out on faith and began my journey as a purpose-driven entrepreneur, I immediately started looking for qualified mentors who had already traveled the journey I was just beginning.
It wasn't long before I realized I needed more than what traditional education had to offer.
If I wanted to become a purpose-driven entrepreneur, I needed to be mentored by purpose-driven entrepreneurs.
Even though I didn't have the money to invest in my education, I knew if I didn't do something different, things were never going to change for me.
Applying what I now teach inside Born CEO Academy, I overcame my fears and limiting beliefs as a shy introverted teenager. I started a side business where I sold m&m’s and snacks out of my high school lockers, along with pizza by the slice. I started averaging over $300 per day in profits and I used to help my mom, pay for school expenses, and invest in my personal and professional development as an entrepreneur.
From there, I started a part-time network marketing business on the side of my 9-5 job, which allowed me to retire from Corporate America 40 years early at the age of 22 and create a consistently growing 6 figure residual income working from home.
