We are excited to announce the start of the NPSC Middle School Travel program. Players in Grades 6-8 can sign up to try out for a chance to represent NPSC in the inaugural season of the Northern Virginia Youth Basketball Alliance (NVYBA).

NVYBA brings together programs from Fauquier and Prince William Counties to provide a higher level of competition.

NPSC is excited to be co-founding the
Northern Virginia Youth Basketball Alliance -
Launching for the 2026-2027 SEASON!

NVYBA unites NPSC with two other prominent regional youth sports organizations—Gainesville Travel  and the Eastern Prince William County Basketball Association.

NVYBA’s inaugural program will feature competitive middle school divisions structured precisely to support the development of the regions’ basketball athletes.  NPSC intends to submit one team to each of the five divisions: Girls JV (6th/7th Grade), Girls Varsity (7th/8th Grade), Boys 6th Grade, Boys 7th Grade, and Boys 8th Grade.   Teams will compete in a double-round robin regular season, coupled with two Non-League games, followed by a post-season tournament.  The NVYBA season will run from early-December to early-March.

Game play will emphasize meaningful regional competition with a balanced regular season schedule followed by an inclusive single-elimination postseason tournament. To accommodate facility and geographic scheduling balance, games will rotate weekly across dedicated host locations in the participating counties.
