The Warner Robins Mole Crickets faced the Appalachian Wampus Cats in the 3rd-Place Single Elimination game of the 2026 Georgia Playoffs. Still playing without Mario Hughes, the Mole Crickets once again showed they are not a team that goes down without a fight, battling through adversity and leaving everything they had on the rink.

Goals from Mikole Hughes, Dan Gibeau, Jordan Byers, and Anthony Hughes helped push the game into overtime, where the Mole Crickets ultimately fell 6-5. Despite the loss, the team showed incredible resilience, determination, and heart, proving they will continue to fight until the very last second.

The Warner Robins Mole Crickets battled the Georgia Peach Boys in a tension-filled rematch following their previous meeting, which resulted in an injury to Mario Hughes. Even without their best player on the rink, the Mole Crickets stood their ground and fought until the very last second, showing the heart, resilience, and determination that defines this team.

The Mole Crickets ultimately fell 4-3, with goals from Brandon Gibeau, Jordan Byers, and Mikole Hughes. Despite the loss, the Mole Crickets proved their resilience, pushing forward as a team and fighting through every obstacle until the final whistle.

Despite the difficult circumstances, the team continued to battle until the final whistle, showing resilience and determination through adversity.
