🎣 THURSDAY RIGGING TIP — LET THE BAIT DO THE WORK!

When you’re fishing a soft plastic around brush, laydowns, docks, or other heavy cover, don’t overlook one simple adjustment: your weight size.

A heavier weight isn’t always better. If the bite gets tough, try dropping to a lighter Texas-rig weight. That slower, more natural fall can keep your bait in the strike zone longer and give a hesitant bass more time to commit.

🔥 Quick rule of thumb: Use the lightest weight that still lets you maintain bottom contact and effectively work the cover you’re fishing.
