The Sespe Fly Fishers had its start in 1978.

The object was to form a group of dedicated fly fishers and fly tyers with a common interest in conservation, education, and fellowship. While the club emphasizes fly fishing for trout, we also occasionally focus our attention on other saltwater and freshwater species with speakers and club outings. Affiliation
In addition to being a member organization of the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) and the Southwest Council of the FFF, we are also supporters of California Trout, Trout Unlimited.

The Lees Ferry Trout Fishery Needs Your Immediate Help.

We urge you to sign and share this petition, encouraging the Department of Interior to resume and continue the Glen Canyon Dam water mixing and cooling program, essential for preserving the Lees Ferry Trout fishery. The petition deadline for submission is Tuesday, 7/14.

Time is of the essence. The river water temperatures increased the past 2 weeks from 60 to 67 degrees. Unless something is done soon the water is projected to reach 75 degrees and the trout will not survive.
