1000 miles. One river. No shortcuts.

It’s been years since a stand-up paddleboard has lined up on the start line of the Yukon 1000.

That should change.

When our sponsored team took on this race, they didn’t arrive to make up the numbers. They prepared properly, respected the river, and came away with the win.

The Yukon doesn’t reward bravado. It rewards judgement, discipline and quiet resilience.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re capable of taking on one of the world’s greatest paddle expeditions, perhaps it’s time to stop wondering.

We know the route. We know the preparation. We know what it takes.

If you’re serious about standing on the start line in 2027, we’ll help you get there through structured training, expedition planning, equipment guidance and honest mentoring from people who’ve done it.

No shortcuts. Just proper preparation.

If that sounds like your sort of challenge, get in touch with our champion Scott Skip Innes

The Yukon is waiting.

Messy chop. Crosswinds. Tired legs. Missed strokes.

The real world.

It tracks when you need confidence. Releases when you need manoeuvrability. Holds when you’re chasing. Not because it’s trying to be clever, but because that’s what it was designed to do.

Some equipment earns its place through marketing.

Some earns it on the water.

The Blaze belongs to the latter.

In a world where it’s easy to buy what looks fast, we’d rather build something that simply works.

Take the red pill. Judge your kit by what it does, not what it promises.

Sometimes the spark doesn’t come from a boardroom, a strategy session, or a carefully planned meeting.

Sometimes it starts with a conversation in a pub.

A few people talking openly about adventure, challenge, and what it really takes to push beyond the ordinary. But as the conversation unfolded, something became clear.

They didn’t just have an affinity for adventure.

They had the mindset, the experience, and the tools to compete — and not just compete, but win.

That conversation ignited something I already knew: when passion meets preparation, and when the right people have the right equipment in their hands, extraordinary things become possible.

This is where ideas become action.

This is where adventure becomes performance.

This is where winning starts.

Throwback.. Before it had a real scene, or a following, there were paddlers simply out there doing their thing. They resonated with an affinity for water and something new…

No spotlight. No blueprint. No idea where it might lead.

They paddled for the chase.
For the challenge.

To the new paddlers: honour where it began, but don’t be afraid to take it somewhere new. Find your own line, chase your own goals, and keep the love at the centre of it all.

The sport evolves.
But the reason remains the same.
Keep Chasing, Keep paddling.

Most people celebrate the result. Your feed is undoubtedly filled with the paddling side of our sport. We respect the work that came before it.

The sessions nobody sees. The hours in the gym.The discipline to keep turning up when motivation’s low and conditions aren’t ideal.

That’s the side of paddlesport we value most.

Not just the podiums, race photos, or highlight moments — but the consistency, preparation, and effort behind them.

To everyone quietly putting the work in behind the scenes, we see it and we respect it.

That mentality is what this community is built on. RaceTraining OceanAthlete EnduranceSport StrengthAndConditioning TrainToPerform Watersports SUPLife BuiltNotGiven BehindTheScenes

One exercise you’re probably not doing that will build core and shoulder resilience. Strength that transfers to the water. 🌊💪

The Turkish Get-Up is one of the most effective movements for paddlesport athletes because it builds stability, mobility, and resilience through every phase of the paddle stroke.

By moving under load through multiple positions, you train:
• Shoulder stability overhead
• Rotational core strength
• Hip mobility and control
• Thoracic spine movement
• Full-body coordination under fatigue

For surfers, SUP racers, and ocean athletes, this means:
✔️ More efficient power transfer in the stroke
✔️ Better shoulder durability during high-volume paddling
✔️ Improved balance and body awareness
✔️ Stronger connection between hips, core, and upper body
✔️ Reduced injury risk from repetitive overhead movement

The ocean rewards athletes who can stay strong, mobile, and controlled under pressure.
Train movement. Train resilience. Train for the ocean.
