Ever have one of those quiet moments…
Coffee in hand.
Looking out the window.
Wondering…
“When did I stop feeling like myself?”
Over the years, I’ve had this conversation with so many women.
They’re successful.
They’re capable.
They care about their health.
They know movement would probably help.
They even have a gym membership.
But somewhere along the way, life got busy.
Work became more demanding.
Hours at a desk turned into years.
Their neck and shoulders started feeling tight.
Their hips and back became stiff.
Their energy slowly faded.
And little by little, they stopped recognizing themselves.
The women I work with aren’t lacking motivation.
They’re carrying a full life.
What they need isn’t more pressure or another complicated plan.
They need someone to help them understand what their body is asking for now.
Because health doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.
Sometimes the first step isn’t doing more.
It’s finally making sense of why you feel the way you do.
✨ If this sounds familiar, I’d love to invite you to take my free 2-minute Sleep & Energy Quiz. You’ll discover your unique Sleep & Energy Profile and gain a little more clarity about what may be contributing to how you’re feel.

If you’ve ever thought…
“Why does taking care of myself suddenly feel so much harder than it used to?”
You are definitely not alone.
So many women in midlife are doing all the “right” things… trying to eat healthy, stay active, manage stress, sleep better, keep up with work, family, and life… and still feeling tired, frustrated, or confused by what their body needs now.
That’s exactly why we created Midlife Simplified.
This is a free online community chat where Registered Dietitian Byrd Schas and I will sit down for a real, honest conversation about women’s health in midlife… without the overwhelm, extremes, or conflicting advice.
This month’s topic:
Why does staying healthy feel so complicated after 40?
We’ll talk about:
• what we’re seeing most often with women in this stage of life
• why old approaches stop working
• simple shifts that actually support energy, strength, and overall wellbeing
• and we’ll answer your real questions live
We’d also love for this to feel interactive and supportive, not just another webinar.
So if there’s a question you’ve been wanting answered about:
• nutrition
• energy
• movement
• weight changes
• hormones
• motivation
• sleep
• stress
• or just feeling like yourself again…
Drop it in the comments or send me a DM and we may answer it during the chat.
It’s completely free, but registration is required so we can send you the link and replay.
Scan the QR code on the flyer or grab the registration link in the comments. We’d love to have you join us

For women over 40, change doesn’t come from extremes.
It comes from small, steady support.
And that’s what creates real momentum.

Not just “I slept”…
but “I actually have energy today.”
If your answer is “I don’t remember”… you’re not alone.
I hear this all the time from women over 40.
You’ve been holding a lot.
Managing a lot.
Pushing through more than your body can keep up with.
At some point, your system starts asking for something different.
Not more effort...More support.
And often… that starts with sleep.
Because when your body feels rested, everything else becomes more doable.

If you’ve ever laid in bed feeling completely exhausted…but your mind just won’t slow down… you’re not alone.
This “tired but wired” feeling is something I see all the time with women I work with.
It usually isn’t about doing something wrong at night, or creating the "perfect" routine.
It’s what’s been building all day.
👉Constant output.
👉Very little space to come down.
So when your head hits the pillow… your body is still trying to catch up.
That’s why better sleep doesn’t start at bedtime. It starts with how supported your nervous system feels throughout the day.
If this is something you’ve been navigating, I share simple, practical ways to start shifting this inside my newsletter.
Nothing overwhelming… just small shifts that help your body actually settle.

I had a client say this to me recently…“I don’t get it… I’m so tired, but when I finally sit down, I can’t relax.”
She wasn’t talking about sleep. She meant right there… at the end of the day.
Sitting on the couch. House finally quiet. Nothing urgent left to do. And still… she felt wired, like she was "supposed" to keep going, doing more.
Almost like her body didn’t know what to do with the stillness.
👉Have you ever felt this way?
Where you want to relax…but your mind is still running, your body feels anxious, and you can’t settle.
What we talked about was this…It’s not that her body forgot how to relax.
It’s that she’s spent years being “𝗼𝗻.”
Taking care of everything. Pushing through. Moving from one thing to the next without much space in between.
So of course her body doesn’t just switch off the moment the day ends. It hasn’t had much practice.
That’s why I don’t tell my clients to “just try to relax” or “fix your sleep.”
We start by creating small moments during the day where her body can actually feel what it’s like to come down.
💛That pause for a deep breath.
Because when your body starts to trust those moments…relaxing at night becomes a lot more natural.
If this sounds familiar, please know… this is more common than you think. And it’s something we can retrain.
Save this for a day when your body feels like it’s still “on” long after everything is done.
