MGM CHASSIS RACE RECAP

It was a strong weekend for The MGM MGM Chassis drivers across the country.

At NFKC in Jacksonville, Austin Speck put together two 2nd place finishes in the Senior classes, while Harley Andrews rounded out the podium with a 3rd in Senior Light. In Cadet, Skylin Mangrum brought it home in 2nd.

Out at OVRP, Wyatt Fink turned in a consistent weekend — starting from the pole in qualifying, following up with a 2nd in the Pre-Final, and closing it out with a 3rd in the Final.

At Sandy Hook Speedway, Sydney Miller swept the day in Juniors, taking the win in every session. Logan Decker wasn’t far behind, qualifying 2nd, running 2nd in the heat race, and finishing 3rd in Juniors overall.

The Apex Karting Championships brought a big weekend for Anderson Hemphill, who qualified on the pole, won his heat race, and finished 2nd in the Swift Mini feature — capping the season with two points championships, in both Briggs Mini and Swift Mini. In Briggs Junior, JJ O’Neil won the first heat race and ran 4th in the Pre-Final, but contact in the Feature ended his day before he could contend for the win. Also on track this weekend: Kellen Weiss, Levi Wilbur, and Lucian Laser.

At NCMP for KRA, Todd Davis picked up his first win in 206 Masters, with Melvin Godsey finishing 3rd and Curtis Crawford turning the fastest lap of the race. Jamie Bradford qualified on the pole in Masters before contact took him out of contention — we’re wishing him a speedy recovery. Jamie had already picked up the win in 206 Heavy earlier in the day.

Down in Barnesville, Georgia, Tracey Lewis picked up her first career win — a great milestone to celebrate.

Congratulations to all our drivers on a great weekend of racing. Your hard work and dedication behind the wheel continue to make Team MGM proud.
