Eyes stay on contact!

This simple cue has helped most if not all of my hitters become more consistent at the plate.

To maintain balance and direction, you need to maintain good body position, or posture.

When your eyes try to anticipate where you’re going to hit the ball, then your body has no force working against it to stay behind and through the ball.

Instead, your body flies open and what could’ve been a Double, turns into a rollover ground out or a swing and miss.

Keep your eyes at your point of contact all the way through your swing.

Watch how much better you will begin to see the ball and be able to DRIVE it to all parts of the field!

Baseball will humble you whether you’re ready or not.

0 for 4 with 3 strikeouts — learn from it, move on.

4 for 4 with a homer — learn from it, move on.

The game doesn’t care how good or bad you feel about it.

What separates the players at the highest level isn’t talent.

It’s the ability to control the wave.

Because it always comes.

Everything’s going great — you’re locked in, you’re confident, you’re rolling.

And then you crash.

Everything’s falling apart — you can’t buy a hit, nothing’s working.

And then you climb back.

The players who make it aren’t the ones who avoid the wave.

They’re the ones who stop letting it control them.

Don’t let the highs get too high.

Don’t let the lows get too low.

Follow your plan. Get a little better every day. Trust that no matter what happens today — you’ll be back at it tomorrow.

You’re not trying to conquer this game in one day.

You’re trying to earn it.

Using the game I love to give back to people who need it most. 🇨🇴🇻🇪⚾

August 28th I'm hosting a charity baseball camp right here in St. Louis. Every dollar goes directly to earthquake relief in Colombia and Venezuela.

9 of 15 spots left. $55 to register. Ages 11–14.

Can't make it? There's a donation link too — GoFundMe closes September 7th.

They lost everything. We’re using baseball to help rebuild. 🇨🇴🇻🇪⚾

Swipe through — this might change how you talk to yourself before your next at-bat.

Most players think self-talk is a personality thing. You’re either confident or you’re not. That’s not how it works.
Self-talk is a skill. You train it like you train your swing — or you don’t train it at all and let it run on autopilot.

Your brain doesn’t believe fake hype. It believes proof. “I’m the best player here” falls apart the second you strike out. But “I’m a grinder. I love challenges. I’m a force to be reckoned with” — those are things you can back up. Say them enough times and they stop being thoughts. They become facts.

The moment it gets hard is exactly when the voice matters most. Make sure it’s yours.

Reps build the voice. The voice builds the player.

If you’re ready to take your game to the next level with consistent, personalized 1-on-1 training — apply in my bio or DM me “TRAIN” directly.
Let’s get to work.
