The unfortunate side of big fish huntin most don’t show . Jonah caught an 8.46lb bass that died today despite all our efforts to keep alive . She was caught about 20ft deep and today was my first attempt at fizzing a fish and I thought it went well however she did not survive.. 😭

The only problem with having two boys that love to fish is they can’t fish any tournaments together other than the Oklahoma High School Fishing because all other tournaments are two person tournaments. Today there is a tournament on Keystone that they would have loved to fish but couldn’t and trust me I understand the concerns even when I say I won’t fish . Well today they caught soo many fish in areas we’ve never even fished and these are their 4 biggest ,Keystone was supposed to be a 4 fish tournament . Yes I fished and caught a bunch as well but these were their 4 biggest ..They caught close to 20 fish over 2 pounds today 💯🐟🎣

Catching double digit bass is fun but absolutely nothing is better than being a boat captain for my boys and watching them catch 2,3,4 and 5 pounders in a tournament. Hearing them say “ I got one “ while in a tournament puts chills down my spine EVERY SINGLE TIME . They officially caught more and bigger public water lake bass this year than I have my entire life .
