A special thank you to our very own Jalyn Moran’s father, Army veteran Galen Moran, who came out and spoke to our athletes about what this day means and the importance of remembering those we lost. 🇺🇸

Yesterday, Motlow State Athletics came together for our first Patriot Run in remembrance of September 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Our athletes completed 2,001 meters with 9 different exercises of 11 reps along the way, a small challenge in honor of the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call and the countless families forever impacted by that day.

Meet our 2026-27 captains & competition teams!

These three were chosen by their teammates and each one brings something different to our team and the way they lead.

Lea Johnson- Even though Lea is new to Motlow this year she made an immediate impact from the minute we got to retreat. She is calm, down to earth and someone people naturally feel comfortable around. She takes initiative without needing to be asked and leads with so much kindness. She is genuinely sweet to everyone and has already earned the trust and respect of her teammates.

Kaylin O’Neal- Kaylin is a returner and such a big part of the culture we are building. She leads by example, brings the energy and isn’t afraid to hold people accountable when they need it. She knows how to push her teammates while still being someone they know is always in their corner. She brings a presence to our team that matters!

Bella Kelley- Bella sets the expectation with how hard she works in everything she does. She is consistent, dependable and holds herself and her teammates to a high standard. She is kind to everyone but also isn’t afraid to expect more out of the people around her. She leads through her actions every single day.

We are so excited to watch these three lead this group. They represent exactly what we want Motlow Softball to be about. ALL IN! 🦌💚

Thanks to everyone who joined us for Motlow Softball Kids Camp and ID Camp. We had a great week and loved getting to work with the next generation of players🦌
