-Thank you Mitchell Noel and Nate Scharenbrock for doing the announcing the whole day. You guys really got into a groove and it was fun to listen to! 😆
-Thank you Al Stout for doing the Co****le tournament, even though it had to be moved inside.
-Thank you Eric Alberson for manning the sign-ups for the Home Run Derby and Co****le tournament, and for selling 50/50!

Our Shakedown Champs for 2026, the "Old" Hayshakers!! They proved the still got it, even if they are bathing in icy hot today😆.
Huge thank you to the Bruce Belters for coming, playing in an outright DOWNPOUR, and wanting to finish the tournament no matter what. You guys are awesome!

Well, the weather was less than ideal for most of the day yesterday, but the Shakedown went on through it all!! THANK YOU's all around, starting with the biggest thank you, to all the players for sticking it out to play all 3 games. You guys are the real deal! Another thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, and volunteered yesterday. Your support is VERY much appreciated and we could not have done it without you!!

I'd call the return of the Shakedown a success! There's already been talks about next year, so you all have something to look forward to as this summer comes to an end.

‼️⚾️ We’ve added another backup option for tomorrow if we can’t play baseball. To make sure we still get our baseball fix, we will have Dartball as an indoor option!!
If you’re not familiar with Dartball, here’s the basics:

If you love baseball but want to play it indoors with a drink in your hand, this is the sport for you! Dartball combines the strategy of baseball with the competitive fun of darts:
🔹 How It Works: Teams face off using a giant 4'x4' board painted like a baseball field. The board features zones for singles, doubles, triples, home runs, strikes, balls, and outs.
🔹 The Rules: Just like real baseball! Games last 9 innings, and you need 3 outs to switch sides.
🔹 The Throw: No overhand darts here! Players stand 20 feet back and must launch heavy, wooden darts using an underhand motion.

So don’t let the forecast deter you from coming!! There’s plenty of fun to be had, rain or shine!!! ⚾️
