Northern Lights Little League is looking for local businesses and organizations to join us for a fun fall evening with our Thornton community! 🎃⚾🍬

We’re inviting local businesses to set up a booth at the fields, hand out candy, and connect with Northern Lights families during our October 18 event.

📅 October 18
🕔 5–7 PM
💵 $20 donation to reserve a booth
🍬 Participating booths provide their own candy

This is a great opportunity to support local youth baseball and softball while putting your business in front of families from throughout our community.

⚾ More Fall Development Opportunities for Pitchers and Catchers

Northern Lights is excited to continue our partnership with D-BAT NW Denver with two more player development clinics this October.

🧤 Pitching Clinic
📅 Saturday, October 3
⏰ 10 a.m.–12 p.m.

⚾ Catching Clinic
📅 Saturday, October 10
⏰ 10 a.m.–12 p.m.

Both clinics are for players ages 9–14 and will be held at D-BAT NW Denver in Lafayette.

Cost: $30 per player, per clinic

Whether your player is already a pitcher or catcher or wants an opportunity to develop at the position, these clinics are another chance to get focused instruction and put in some extra work this fall.

Northern Lights Little League is seeking a General Manager of Baseball and Softball Operations to oversee and support the league. This is an independent contractor (1099) position.

🍂⚾ Fall Baseball is in full swing! ⚾🍂

We’re right in the middle of our Fall Baseball season with Northern Lights Little League, and there’s nothing better than seeing our fields come alive every Sunday!

The Colorado sunshine, warm temps, the sound of bats, big smiles, new friendships, and most importantly—kids having fun playing the game we all love. 💙⚾

We’re so grateful for all of our players, coaches, families, and volunteers who make Sundays at the ballpark so special. Watching these young athletes learn, grow, cheer each other on, and simply enjoy playing ball is what Little League is all about!

Here’s to more sunny Sundays, great plays, big hits, and memories made together. 🍁⚾💙

Riverdale Ridge Ravens + Northern Lights — building something together. ⚾

Round two of our fall baseball clinics brought Riverdale Ridge Ravens HS Baseball players and coaches together at the Riverdale fields to work with our young athletes, and it was another great example of what can happen when local programs invest in each other.

These clinics are about more than baseball instruction. They give our younger players a chance to learn from athletes who are only a few years ahead of them, ask questions, build confidence, and see what the next level can look like.

At the same time, the Riverdale Ridge players get an opportunity to step into a different role as teachers, mentors, and leaders within their own community.

That connection is what makes this partnership special.

Thank you to the Northern Lights families for coming out, and a huge thank you to Riverdale Ridge Ravens Baseball for once again giving your time and energy to Northern Lights and helping create meaningful opportunities for our players. A special shout-out to Coach Jim Rodriguez for organizing and running this clinic and Coach Jimmy Luetjen for continuing to support the community.

We’re excited to keep building on this relationship and create more ways for young athletes throughout our community to learn, lead, and grow together.

Together, we are creating affordable development opportunities, strengthening relationships within our community, and helping the next generation of players learn from those who recently stood in their shoes.

Riverdale Ridge Ravens + Northern Lights = A Stronger Community ⚾

This is what community baseball is all about.

It was incredible to see the Thornton baseball community come together on Saturday as Riverdale Ridge High School Baseball players and coaches volunteered their time, experience, and love of the game with the next generation of athletes at Northern Lights Little League.

For our younger players, it was a chance to learn from some amazing young men and athletes who were once in their shoes. For the high school players, it was an opportunity to lead, teach, and give back to the community that helped shape them.

A huge thank you to Riverdale Ridge Ravens HS Baseball for donating your time and knowledge to our young athletes. We are incredibly grateful for your willingness to invest in the broader Thornton baseball community.

We believe some of the best opportunities for young athletes can be built right here at home by bringing our schools, leagues, coaches, players, and families together.

High school players developing as leaders. Younger players learning and dreaming about what’s next. One baseball community growing together.
