🥎 Fall Softball Opportunity 🥎

Northern Lights Little League will not be offering a fall softball program this year. Families interested in continuing to play this fall are encouraged to register with North Metro Little League.

North Metro will be entering teams in the Indian Peaks Girls Softball Association (IPGSA) fall program. Teams are expected to practice one to two times per week and play doubleheaders on Saturdays throughout the fall season.

Northern Lights remains committed to growing our softball program, and we look forward to offering softball again in Spring 2027.

⚾ Baseball Camp & Showcase at Riverdale Ridge High School ⚾

Riverdale Ridge Ravens HS Baseball is hosting a Baseball Showcase and Camp for players ages 9–18.

The camp will cover all areas of the game and feature instruction from Coach Russell and six additional coaches with more than 20 years of combined college baseball playing experience. Coach Russell is highly regarded for his hitting instruction and has also coached multiple national award-winning college pitchers.

This is a great opportunity for Northern Lights players to learn from knowledgeable coaches while supporting our local high school baseball program.

What an incredible night for Northern Lights Little League!

⚾ Our Intermediate 50/70 All-Stars completed an undefeated run through the Colorado State Tournament and are headed to the West Region Tournament in Nogales, Arizona, beginning July 22.

⚾ Our Senior All-Stars also finished the state tournament undefeated and will represent Colorado at the West Region Tournament in Oakland, California, beginning July 22.

Winning one state championship is an extraordinary accomplishment. Bringing home two on the same night makes this a truly special moment for our league.

Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, families, and supporters who helped make these championship runs possible. We are incredibly proud of both teams and cannot wait to cheer them on as they represent Northern Lights and the state of Colorado at regionals!

Next stop: Arizona and California!

⚾ All-Star success is not limited to our players! Northern Lights umpire Sid Lucero (center-right) has been selected to officiate the West Region Tournament in Nogales, AZ, this year. Sid was chosen from among thousands of umpires across the region, marking an incredible achievement in his umpiring career. Congratulations, Sid!

⚾ Our Senior and Intermediate teams remain undefeated after winning their first two games of the state tournament. Tonight, both teams will compete for a state championship at the Northern Lights fields at 6 p.m. Let's Go!

⚾ Our Junior team begins its state tournament in Grand Junction on July 15.

🥎 Our 10U Softball team begins its state tournament run in Rifle on July 17.

🥎 Featured in this post, our 10U Softball team, co-chartered with North Metro Little League, are the District 2 champions! This marks our 4th district title for 2026 across the league. The girls start state tournament play on 7/17 in Rifle (District 1) at 6PM.

⚾ Unfortunately, the 11U team lost in an 8-inning overtime thriller to North Metro, ending their tournament run.

⚾ Don't forget that our Intermediate and Senior teams' first state tournament games are tonight at 6PM at the NL fields. Come out and cheer them on!

⚾ Last, but not least, our Junior team starts their state tournament in Grand Junction on 7/15.

⚾ Additionally, our District 2 Champion Intermediate team also kicks off the state tournament against District 5 this Friday, 7/10, at 6PM, at the NL fields.

⚾ Unfortunately, the 11U team lost to South Boulder last night, but tonight, 7/8 at 6PM, they face North Metro to continue the fight for the District 2 title at the NL fields.

We are lucky to host so many tournaments this year, especially the state tournaments. Show our teams some love and stop by to cheer them on if you have an opportunity.

⚾ The 11U team, featured in this post, walked off the win against Golden tonight. They continue tournament play against South Boulder on 7/7 at 6PM at the NLLL fields. Good luck tomorrow!

⚾ Unfortunately, the 12U Major team's tournament run came to an end tonight. The boys battled, but ultimately fell to Monarch. Way to represent Northern Lights.
