The Waxing Moon is the rise — the part of the cycle where you stop surviving and start building again.

And honestly? Life has been a lot.
Endings.
Beginnings.
A remodel.
A heart that’s been stretched in every direction.

But Viking women didn’t wait for perfect conditions.
They built during storms.
They rebuilt during chaos.
They rose during transition.

Today’s reminder:
Momentum doesn’t come from having everything together.
It comes from choosing one thing.

Small step: Pick one task — tiny, doable, non‑dramatic.
A drawer.
A corner.
A five‑minute walk.
A single message.
One thing that says, “I’m moving again.”

Today felt like the first real whisper of fall — cold in the morning, warm by afternoon, the kind of weather that reminds you life is always shifting, even when you’re not ready.

And honestly? My therapy session said the same thing.

Sometimes the past circles back.
Not because you failed to heal…
but because you’ve grown enough to face it from a stronger place.
Where a woman stands in her truth, feels the old ache rise, and says,
“I can hold this now.”

Healing isn’t linear.
It’s seasonal.
It comes back around like the cold mornings before warm days —
a reminder that you’re still becoming, still expanding, still rising.

If something resurfaced for you today, it doesn’t mean you’re back at the beginning.
It means you’re ready for the next layer.

You’re not breaking.
You’re deepening.

The day after the New Moon is always a test of intention.
Not a battle — a choice.

In Norse tradition, the first step after darkness wasn’t rushed.
It was deliberate.
Measured.
A woman deciding how she would carry herself into the next cycle.

Today’s energy is simple:
Walk like you meant what you said last night.

Not perfectly.
Not dramatically.
Just with the quiet strength of a shield‑maiden who knows her path is hers to claim.

A small action.
A grounded decision.
A moment of self‑leadership.

That’s how the new chapter begins —
not with noise, but with direction.

What’s one step you’re taking today to honor the woman you’re becoming?

🌑 NEW MOON — SEPTEMBER 10
The New Moon is the dark sky the Vikings trusted —
the quiet beginning,
the unseen shift,
the moment where the next chapter is chosen, not revealed.

This is the part of the cycle where the world goes still…
and a woman decides who she will become next.

Tonight, I’m honoring the reset.
The pause.
The breath before the rise.
The part of the journey no one sees but everything depends on.

New Moon energy asks one thing:
What are you ready to build, claim, or become in the dark before the light returns?

I’m choosing my next identity with intention.
My next chapter with clarity.
My next rise with fire.

The void isn’t empty —
it’s sacred.

Labor Day hits different when you remember that Viking women didn’t just “help out” — they ran entire households, farms, trade routes, healing practices, and spiritual rituals.

Their labor wasn’t invisible.
It was essential.
And we're still doing it.

So today, honor your work —
the emotional labor, the physical labor, the mental load, the healing, the rebuilding, the leading, the surviving, the becoming.

You don’t have to “earn” rest.
You don’t have to justify your exhaustion.
You don’t have to pretend you’re not carrying more than most people see.

Take a moment today to acknowledge your own strength:

You are the modern shield‑maiden.
You carry the fire.
You hold the line.
You build the life.

Rest like a woman who knows her worth.
Rise like a woman who knows her power.

Viking women carried a kind of power that didn’t need permission.
They were seers, shield‑maidens, healers, leaders, and decision‑makers — not accessories to someone else’s story.

And that energy is rising again.

If you’ve felt yourself shifting lately…
If you’ve felt the pull toward strength, sovereignty, intuition, and fire…
If you’ve felt the urge to rebuild your identity from the inside out…

That’s not random.
That’s ancestral memory.

Today’s reflection:
Where are you ready to stop asking and start claiming?

Your voice is a weapon.
Your intuition is a compass.
Your boundaries are a shield.

Lead like a woman who remembers where she comes from.

In Norse tradition, discipline wasn’t about perfection — it was about showing up for the life you were building, even when the weather, the world, or your own mind made it inconvenient.

Women weren’t fragile.
They were the backbone of the homestead, the keepers of the fire, the ones who held the line when the men were gone.

Today’s reminder:
Movement is a form of self‑respect.

Not punishment.
Not aesthetics.
Not hustle culture.

Just the simple, ancient truth that your body was made to move, and your spirit strengthens when you honor it.

Take a walk.
Stretch.
Lift something heavy.
Stand outside and breathe like a woman who knows her lineage.

Your ancestors didn’t shrink.
And neither do you.

Tomorrow the moon begins a new cycle — which means today is your chance to prepare your identity for what’s next.

Not by hustling.
Not by overthinking.
But by choosing who you want to be in the next chapter.

Ask yourself:
What version of me am I ready to meet in the next lunar cycle?

Because she’s already forming.

Waning Crescent energy is the exhale of the lunar cycle — the part where you stop pushing and start trusting.

This is the rest phase.
The surrender phase.
The “I don’t have to force what’s already aligning” phase.

Let yourself soften today.
Let yourself breathe.
Let yourself be held by the quiet.

Rest is part of the ritual.

This part of the lunar cycle asks one question:

What am I responsible for — and what am I not?

Emotional responsibility isn’t about blaming yourself.
It’s about owning your reactions, your choices, and your patterns…
while releasing the weight of everyone else’s.

You don’t have to carry what isn’t yours.
You just have to lead what is.
