Some reminders are worth hearing more than once.
You’re allowed to change your mind. Outgrow people. Want more. Stop drinking before it “gets bad enough.” Start again after you f**k up. Become someone your old life doesn’t recognize.
You do not need permission to build a life that fits you better.
Save the one you need. Send one to a woman who needs the reminder too.♥️

If I hadn’t become totally addicted, I’m not sure I would’ve ever stopped. I might’ve lived the rest of my life half numb and half present. YIKES.
Also, drinking alcohol isn’t normal.
Redefine Normal🦋

The beginning never looks dangerous.
What if…there was an easy way…to feel…or not feel?
At first, it feels like magic.
So you go back for more.
And for a while, it delivers.
To feel, not feel, fit in, let loose.
Until something starts to change.
The reward gets smaller.
But the desire doesn’t.
And the glasses multiply.
So you keep chasing the feeling you remember.
Hoping this time will be different.
But now you need it just to feel “normal.”
And the glasses multiply.
Losing more and more to something that gives less and less back.
Losing yourself.
At the same time, not ever truly having a self to lose because you’ve been numbing yourself as the source.
And that’s when you finally decide.
