Just in case you were wondering….. “Gosh those baseball players must be so bored now that the Little League is over.” Uhmmmm, no.

We had time in between their soccer matches to ask how it feels to have 11,786 people stop them every 10 seconds at school…. at the library …. at the grocery store to talk about baseball.

They smiled: “Oh it’s fun. Everyone is so nice!”

In the background a group of younger kids whispered loudly, “Mom those are the famous guys from TV! We saw them on ESPN!”

And then they were off again, back to work as referees for our local University Place Soccer Club . These wonderful young athletes are staying busy, busy!
