I love my babies. They are the reason I get up everyday. We have been through so much together. From multiple top running dogs to getting traumatized from COVID and FloQast, to being chastised for working from home while be screamed at by my boss over weekly video calls to crazy cat people cutting my fence. It hasn’t been easy getting my dogs here at all but we are finally starting to feel safe inside our own home again and I’m so happy to be out of that awful house in Tacoma that I’ve been trying to get out of for years with no support from the people that were around me.

PS I’m going to be working on my website and updates over the next few weeks including the available dogs I have!! I haven’t ignored some of the people that have shown interested in Sharkbait but I had to be sure I want her to go and I’m going to get real pictures of her.

I’m officially putting up my beautiful Sharkbait for adoption. She is only reserved for a single or other calm male (or maybe super calm female). She’s super human friendly and loves people. I have all 3 sisters still strictly because I imported her mother from Russia (due to sanction from even years ago you can’t import from Russia and they have a unique pedigree even on Russia’s terms) and the other litter I had 3 boys and within a month of placing one of the boys a “door fell on their head” and went into a-coma and obviously ended up getting put down. So when I repeated the litter it was really hard to let any of these 3 girls go let alone decide who was going to leave. Even though she has this drop dead gorgeous head oozing with wrinkles she needs to be in a single or 2 dog home that’s not going to have a whole lot of extreme changes and they just want to enjoy a basenji because she is super people friendly and loves to do stuff. She is wearing a muzzle because she has been picked on every single member of my dog group except her sisters and she just fights back when she gets picked on be she is not an initiator which is why she needs to just been in a one dog home or a chill buddy cuz I do think she would get lonely, she’s just been picked on by every single dog in my house and started to fight back. I love her so much and she is a great cuddler which is why I’m letting her go to the best family.

3rd time mowing my entire lawn (not including the horse pasture obviously) I’ve also had to learn how to use sprinklers and I’m proud I haven’t flooded the neighborhood yet 😂. Even just walking across my house is twice as far as my old house lol. My whole yard probably wasn’t that much smaller than my yard here but walking from one end to the other is just about walking across my entire old lot. My daily average steps and distance has nearly doubled since we got here (ps I didn’t keep my watched charged in June very well right before I moved because I had given up on doing much except trying to get out of there).

I don’t think the dogs miss the rain and are enjoying the desert like heat!!
