Congrats Leyna‼️

Southview Cougar Musician of the Week - Leyna Pham!

Senior Leyna Pham has been playing cello for 6 and a half years. She is the principal cellist of the SV Concert Orchestra, has performed with the OMEA Honors Orchestra, and has participated in the SV chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Leyna is currently serving as President of the Southview Orchestras.

Director Megan Fitzpatrick says that, “Leyna is constantly pitching in to mentor younger students, and her ability to help guide and motivate other students has had an incredible impact on her section and the orchestra as a whole.”

Outside of orchestra, Leyna is a member of Speech and Debate, Science Olympiad, Cross Country, Asian Culture Club (Event planner), and the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy.

After graduation, Leyna plans on attending the University of Toledo to major in biochem with the goal of going to dental school post-undergrad.
