A tough one for the Kent Island Bucs 10U Silver today against the BlueSox.

The scoreboard didn’t go our way, but these boys kept battling and put 8 runs on the board. The Bucs worked 7 walks as a team, with Everhett and Everett each reaching twice on walks.

Maverick led the offense with 2 RBIs, while Maverick, Tanner and Everett each recorded a hit.

⛓️ GAME CHAIN: #6 TANNER MULLINS

Tanner came through with a hit today and earned the chain for his effort on the field. Way to work, Tanner! 💪

We’ve got work to do, and we’ll get back to it. One game at a time.

The first one of the fall season is in the books, and these boys fought until the very end.

After falling behind early, the Bucs kept battling and put 11 runs on the board, including five in the 2nd and another five in the 5th to make it a ballgame.

Not the final score we wanted, but there was a whole lot of fight from this group today. We’ve got things to work on, but this was game one. We keep working, keep getting better, and move on to the next one.

2026 Spring Season Complete

Today officially marks the end of the Kent Island Bucs 9U Spring season.

This wasn’t just another season for our team. This was our first year as a travel team, our first year playing kid pitch, and our first year playing under more advanced baseball rules. There were plenty of challenges along the way, but these boys never stopped competing, learning, and growing.

The improvement from Opening Day to our final game was incredible to watch.

📊 Season Leaders

🔥 Hitting
•Aiden Heisel led the team with a .400 batting average, .595 OBP, 1.115 OPS, and 13 stolen bases.
•Dominic Ragsdale-Peel led the team with 11 hits and tied for the team lead with 10 RBIs.
•Maverick Ammann hit .333 with a .590 OBP.
•Tanner Mullins led the team with 14 runs scored.
•Julian Raulin scored 13 runs and added 8 RBIs.

🧤 Fielding
•Aiden Heisel recorded a team-high 35 defensive outs.
•Julian Raulin contributed 19 defensive outs while handling duties behind the plate and around the field.
•Everhett Pease added 19 defensive outs and became a steady presence in the infield.

🔥 Pitching
•Connor Milholland led the staff with 12.2 innings pitched and 17 strikeouts.
•Lennox Mulloy added 11 innings and 10 strikeouts.
•Austen Dumond and MJ Walker each recorded 9 strikeouts.
•Multiple players stepped up throughout the season to take the mound and compete for the team.

While the stats tell part of the story, they don’t tell all of it. This group learned how to play through adversity, compete at a higher level, support one another, and embrace the challenges that come with travel baseball.

The season may be over, but the work continues.

Our players will continue weekly training throughout the summer as we prepare for fall baseball and our move up to 10U. We’re excited to build on everything we learned this year and continue developing as players and teammates.
