CONGRATS to Ty and Taylin for being named to the All-Tournament Team at the Sullivan Back to School Classic this weekend!
š„ The girls had some impressive stats to earn those honors:
In five games, Ty Schenck (2027) carried a .400/.571/.600 with two doubles, 4RBI, 3R and went 4 for 4 in stolen bases.
Taylin Linenweber (2027) was on fire at the plate in her five games, batting .571 with a .600 OBP and an .857 SLUG! She had two doubles and a triple and led the team with 7 runs scored.
These are just two of the girls that had an outstanding opening weekend! Too many accolades to mention, letās just say that the Nattyās showed up BIG TIME!
Great job ladies, keep it up!

Let the roadtrips begin! Today I had the privilege of watching two of our newcomers play in the same tournament. Luckily, they werenāt playing each other or I donāt know who I would have pulled for!
Rylee Breznay (2028) and her Howell Central teammates took down a pesky St. Joseph Academy team, 7-3. In the sixth inning, Rylee blasted a line-drive double over the centerfielderās head and, of course, played lights out defense throughout.
Meanwhile, on the upper field, Skylar Jolliff (2028) was absolute nails on the mound in Howell Northās very close 4-1 victory over North Point. Skylar was throwing gas, racking up 12 strikeouts in 5.2 innings pitched. She also came up clutch at the plate with a game-tying RBI laser in the bottom of the fifth.
Amazing work from both girls! Way to represent NattyNation with leadership, tenacity and skill!

š„š„š„ How about this action to kick off the regular season!
Aleah Carter (2027) gave Fox the victory over Farmington today with a walk-off double to right center field!! Her reaction says it all š¤©.
On the other side of town, Skylar Jolliff (2028) kicked off her 2026 campaign with a key home run to help Howell North defeat a tough Eureka team 4-2! šŖ
If this is how weāre going to start, I canāt wait to see what it looks like when they really get rolling!! Nice start ladies, nice start indeed!

A couple of the girls recently tested their softball skills at the next level and went ācampingā!
2027 Anna Klekamp took a visit to Illinois College this weekend and killed it!
Not to be outdone was 2028 Rylee Breznay at the Southwest Baptist University camp! Coach is a couple weeks late on this post š¬, but she also had an amazing showing at camp!
Keep challenging yourself girls. Next stop, High School season!! Letās GOOOOOOO!!!!

While we were pouring an extraordinary amount of energy into building what we believe is an extremely talented and complete roster, I realized I hadnāt properly introduced another HUGE piece of what weāre building.
Please welcome new Assistant Coach Grace Paez to the St. Louis Naturals!
Grace brings high-level playing experience, knowledge, energy and passion to our staff. A 5-year starter at Fontbonne University, she finished her career with a .360 batting average, .972 fielding percentage and three SLIAC All-Conference honors, while twice leading the conference in batting average.
As a Hitting & Catching Instructor, Grace will play a major role in developing our hitters and catchers while bringing another experienced voice to the dugout.
She knows what it takes to compete, prepare and be part of something bigger than yourself.
Grace, welcome to the Natty Family. Weāre incredibly fortunate to have you.
The future is looking really, REALLY bright. ā”ļø

The new look Naturals held our first practice today and WOW! Individually the talent was clear to see. Together, this group can do anything!!
Tomorrow, they all go their separate ways to help lead their high school teams, but when they come back, look out!

Finally, the reason for it all, the returning core! Iāve been incredibly fortunate over the years to have amazing athletes and families in our corner and if it wasnāt for these girls we wouldnāt have even attempted a rebuild. These girls are like family and the fact that they are ALL amazing players made this decision an easy one.
Alice Lippold is an on-base machine and one of the aces of our staff. Ty Schenck has lightning in her feet and patrols the outfield like none other. Katie āBlondieā Hokamp is a brick wall behind the plate and passionate leader. Taylin Linenweber is maybe the best defensive first baseman in the state. And finally, Olivia Schmidt is the last remaining OG and fundamentally sound in every position.
This group has been the heartbeat of our program for many years and will continue to fuel our success. Together, with our outstanding newcomers, the girls are primed to take on the softball world! Canāt wait to get started!!

Some players just feel like they belong in a Naturals uniform, and Elizabeth Johnson is one of them.
EJ was the very first player we offered this offseason, and after coming close to joining the Naturals several times over the years, weāre thrilled that this time it all came together!
A talented third baseman and outfielder from Lindbergh High School, EJ is the definition of quiet confidence. Steady, determined, and incredibly athletic, she lets her game do the talking. At the plate, she has a knack for spraying lasers all over the field and consistently finding barrels.
We canāt wait to see what sheāll bring once she puts on the Navy and Columbia Blue.
Welcome to the Natty Family, EJ!!

When you think of high Softball IQ, you think of Rylee Breznay! Intelligent on and off the field, Rylee brings an unmatched passion for the game and a dedication that will take her as far as she wants to go.
A slick infielder whose primary position is shortstop, this Francis Howell Central starter is nails under pressure and generates gap-to-gap power with the best of them. Hard work comes naturally for this one and we canāt wait to see what she can do!
Welcome to the Naturals Family, Rylee, letās go!!
