As Coach Kathy continues her fight against breast cancer, we want to surround her with the same love and support she has given to so many athletes, families, and our volleyball community over the years.

16U Head Coach- Marisa 🏐

Guess who's back?
We're excited to welcome Coach Marisa back for her 3rd season with Bluff Impact Volleyball Club!

"My volleyball journey began at Summersville High School, where I earned All-State honors as an Outside Hitter. I continued my volleyball career at East Central College, which continued my love for the game. I'm very excited to be back at Bluff Impact and I'm ready to start a new season with a group of hardworking athletes."

Marisa brings valuable coaching knowledge due to her past experinces at both the club and high school levels. Coach Marisa is passionate about helping players improve their skills, compete with confidence, and grow as teammates and individuals. Her energy, experience, and commitment to player development make her a tremendous asset to our club.

Meet Coach Kathy Lightner, our 17U Head Coach and Assistant Club Director! 🏐 💙

Since Bluff Impact Volleyball Club opened its doors in 2018, Coach Kathy has been an integral part of building our program and helping shape our culture that makes our club special. Her passion for developing our young athletes have made a lasting impact on countless players and families over the years.

"I believe volleyball is about so much more than wins and losses. I'm committed to helping these athletes grow in confidence, strengthen their work ethic, become resilient teammates, and develop leadership skills that will benefit them both on and off the court."

As Assistant Club Director, Kathy also works behind the scenes with players in each age group to ensure every athlete has a positive, competitive, and rewarding club experience.

We are incredibly grateful for Coach Kathy's continued dedication to Bluff Impact and are excited to watch her lead our 17U team this season. Thank you, Coach Kathy, for everything you do for our athletes and our club! 💙💚

18U Head Coach 🏐

"My love for volleyball began at the age of 12, when I started playing in rec league and junior high. I continued to grow my passion for the sport by competing in club volleyball throughout high school."

This season marks her 9th year of coaching volleyball and her 5th season with Bluff Impact Volleyball Club. She began her coaching career working with elementary and junior high athletes and has loved helping players develop their skills and confidence both on and off the court. Coach Meagan is excited to lead our 18U team this season. Her passion for the game, positive attitude, and commitment to athlete development make her a tremendous asset to Bluff Impact.

15U Head Coach🏐

We're excited to have Christy leading our 15U team this season. We can't wait to see the positive impact she will make on our athletes. Welcome to the Bluff Impact family, Christy!💙

"Growing up in Eminence, where volleyball is more than a sport—it's a way of life—I was surrounded by a legacy of talented players who inspired my passion for the game. I began playing competitive volleyball at the age of nine and spent three years competing in travel volleyball out of Poplar Bluff, where I developed my skills and gained valuable competitive experience. I continued my playing career at Three Rivers College, building on the strong foundation that began in my hometown.

By day, I'm a banker; by night, I'm a volleyball enthusiast with a passion for developing the next generation of athletes. I am incredibly thankful for the coaches who challenged, encouraged, and believed in me. They helped shape me not only into a better volleyball player but also into a better person. Through the sport, I learned discipline, work ethic, teamwork, and leadership—qualities that have guided me throughout my career and life.

My hope as a coach is to help every athlete I work with grow both on and off the court. While improving volleyball skills is important, my greatest goal is to instill confidence, character, resilience, and a love for the game that will serve these young women long after their playing days are over. I am looking forward to an exciting 15U season!"

16U 🏐 Assistant Coach

We want to welcome former player, Ashley Hall to our coaching staff for the 26-27 season. We are excited to have Ashley back to our club, this time in a new role! Ashley will be assisting our 16U team this season. Welcome back, Ashley!

"Hi everyone! My name is Ashley, and I’m so excited to be an Assistant volleyball coach! 🏐

I’ve been playing volleyball since I was 5 years old, and the sport has been a huge part of my life ever since. Im a former Bluff Impact athlete, holding the setter position and had an amazing high school career earning honors including All-District, All- Academic, Most Aces, and Most Assists.

After high school, I was fortunate to receive multiple college offers. While it was a difficult decision, I chose to focus on my education and pursue a career as a Radiologic Technologist.

Although my playing days are behind me, my passion for volleyball has never faded. I’m excited to give back to the sport that has given me so much by helping out in every way I can! Let’s have a great season! "💙💚🏐
