We had a blast celebrating our athletes at our end of summer run + pool party. Starting the day with a group run, breakfast then hitting the pool — we are proud of our athletes and it’s easy to celebrate them!

Can’t wait for the upcoming fall training season!

MARKET MILE TEAM RESULTS!

One mile. Full send. 🤘

The Filla Endurance crew took on the Market Mile last weekend in downtown St. Louis, and we loved seeing so many of our athletes out there racing, cheering, and representing the team! 💙

👏 Beth Daniels — 9:43
👏 Chris Oleksiw — 6:05
👏 Kate Daniels — 11:20
👏 Kimberly Maserang — 9:40
👏 Nat Hilterbrand — 8:11
👏 Sami Hantak — 8:51
👏 Theresa Catalano — 6:46

⭐️Special shoutout to Halley Cokley - our favorite volunteer handing out keychains at the finish line!

The mile may be short, but there is absolutely nowhere to hide. It’s such a fun change of pace for our distance runners and a great opportunity to test some speed!

Huge congratulations to everyone who raced, and thank you to everyone who came out to support and cheer on the runners.

Running is about more than PRs. Occasionally it’s about stepping outside your comfort zone...even if that means trying something surprising like a Beer Mile. 🍻

We had a blast cheering on Michael as he took on one of running’s most iconic novelty events, finishing in an impressive 7:05.

For the record, no, we don’t prescribe Beer Mile workouts. 😉 But every now and then, it’s okay to enjoy the fun side of running, too!

Congrats, Michael! 🥳

When Alex started training with Laura in 2022, the goal wasn’t to chase a marathon PR.

It was to help her find consistency again. She was ready to feel strong again.

As a busy mom of two balancing work, family, and everything in between, she committed to the process one run at a time.

4 years later, here’s what that consistency has turned into:

• 4 Time Boston Marathon finisher
• Sub-4 hour marathoner
• 3 B.A.A. race finishes in 2026
• 54:25 at the B.A.A. 10K

These milestones didn’t happen because of one perfect training block. They happened because of years of individualized coaching.

We pivoted, adapted as life changed and made the training work for Alex.

That’s the power of 1:1 coaching.

It’s not just about hitting one big goal. It’s about having someone in your corner who helps you become the runner you didn’t think was possible.

We’re so proud of you, Alex. 🥹 Here’s to everything you’ve accomplished and everything still to come. 💛

Our latest Coaching Hour was all about helping runners better understand pain, injuries, and when to seek help.

A huge thank you to Dr. Vanda Wilder, PT, for sharing practical, evidence-based insights with our coaching team and community.

We covered common running injuries, how to describe pain more accurately, why not all pain should be treated the same, the role of appropriate loading in recovery, and when it’s time to stop running and get evaluated.

As coaches, our goal is to keep learning so we can better support the athletes who trust us with their training. Sessions like these help us bridge the gap between coaching and healthcare while staying in our lane and collaborating with experts.

Swipe through for some of our biggest takeaways from the conversation.

Matt’s goal wasn’t to set PRs.

It was simply to run healthy again.

Over the last six months, Matt and Coach Alec focused on rebuilding consistency, staying patient, and stringing together healthy training weeks. The objective was to create a foundation that would allow him to train without setbacks.

The outcome?

✅ Healthiest cycle in years
✅ 3K PR
✅ 5K PR (17:49, first time under 18 minutes)
✅ 10K PR (38:23)

The PRs are exciting, we’re most proud of the joy we see from Matt. Consistent training, smart progression, and staying healthy can go a long way.

Great work, Matt!
