It's Almost Time to Go All-In for Camp Sabra!
All-In for Camp Sabra begins on August 30. Camp Sabra provides life-shaping experiences to Jewish children and young adults from around the world on the Staenberg Peninsula. But we rely on YOUR support to help Sabra provide scholarships, offer excellent programs, and continue fostering resilience in our Jewish community. Your donation will change a camper’s life!

As Senior Staff week begins! More Announcements…
We are super excited to announce our 2026 Communications Director… Marisa Goldstein!
Coming back to camp for her 11th year, Marisa started Sabra back in 2016 as a mini camper in older Sharone and is back at Camp for her 4th year as staff!
Marisa we couldn’t be happier to have you as a part of the senior staff team. Parents will be excited to read all of the newsletters!

Masada 2026… we know you’ve been waiting 👀
Joining the 1st session staff team for her 10th summer is Avery Navran! Avery recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology and is currently applying to grad schools.
Joining the 2nd session staff team for her 10th summer is Cameron Moseley! Cameron recently graduated from Indiana University and will soon begin serving as a 2LT in the Army.
And leading this incredible team as our 2026 Unit Head is Leah Samuels! Leah steps into the role after multiple years on Senior Staff and will be celebrating her 13th summer at camp.
We couldn’t be more excited for Avery, Cameron, and Leah to join our amazing Masada Staff!

And right before Shabbat we have another big announcement for the summer! Coming back for his 2nd year as Program Director….Joey Carson!
Joey started his Sabra summers back in 2014 as a rising 3rd grader that came to camp for just one week! Like a few other staff… every summer since then (minus 2020) he has been on the peninsula!
Joey’s camp mentor is Josh Mannis. He says he had a great attitude everyday when he was his counselor and made camp a great time.
Joey has lots of plans already for the summer so get ready Sabra we are in for a wild ride!

And now we are so excited to introduce everyone to our 2026 Arts N Crafts Director Devorah Klein.
We are so lucky to have Devorah here this summer! She comes in with so much expertise in arts n crafts and we can’t wait to show off what she is going to bring to the campers this summer!
As this is her first summer at Camp Sabra let’s show her how we welcome in new people at camp! Let her know “we’re mighty glad she’s here!”

Oh you’ve been asking about this one…get ready Sail Dock fans….your 2026 Sail Dock Director is… Andrew Ryan!!!
Starting camp as a mini camper in 2016 Andrew has been at Sabra almost every year since! He is going on his 3rd year as staff.
His camp role model is Reagan Shonk, who was one of his first counselors. He said he really tried to make a connection with him, even after he wasn’t his cabin staff.
Ryan, we are super happy to have you leading the Sail Dock this summer…and great song choice by the way. We see what you did there! Welcome to Senior staff ‘26!
