CELEBRATING OUR FLYERS | WEEKLY STUDENT RECOGNITION

There are incredible things happening every day across Lindbergh Athletics, Activities and Fine Arts, and we want to make sure the students making an impact are recognized!

Each week, coaches, directors and sponsors will nominate deserving Flyers for two weekly honors:

🥇 Double D’s Pizzeria Student-Athlete of the Week
Recognizing outstanding athletic performance, dedication, leadership and character.

⭐ Lindbergh Schools Foundation Student-Participant of the Week
Recognizing outstanding involvement, achievement, service, leadership and contributions to our activities and programs.

Congratulations to our first weekly recipients!

STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Sarah Studer | Varsity Softball
STUDENT-PARTICIPANT OF THE WEEK: Isabella Rodriguez | Cheer & Flight Team

Sarah and Isabella will each be featured in their own individual recognition posts highlighting their accomplishments.

ALSO NOMINATED THIS WEEK

One winner may be selected for each honor, but every nomination represents a Flyer doing something worth celebrating. Congratulations to these outstanding students who were recognized by their coaches and directors:

Jameson “Jay” Waters | JV Football
Jay scored two rushing touchdowns in Lindbergh’s 48-12 win over Vianney while also playing a major role defensively. His toughness, grit and perseverance earned recognition from his coaches.

Isabell Branham | Girls Cross Country
After being injured at the Jackson meet, Isabell found another way to contribute. She spent the meet filling water cups and helping runners from throughout the competition. James Dollenmeyer and Luke Bakai from Boys Cross Country also stepped up to help — a great example of Flyers serving others!

Madelyn Judd | Girls Cross Country
Maddie placed 4th in the freshman race at the Jackson Invitational and led all Lindbergh runners at the meet!

Kendra Simmons | Flyerettes
Kendra was recognized for her tremendous work ethic, consistent improvement and leadership. Her coaches praised the example she sets for teammates through both her words and actions.

Hazel Windeknecht | Girls Tennis
Hazel helped earn a huge doubles victory over Ladue in her first high school match. Her coaches specifically recognized her clutch service holds, daily work ethic and outstanding start to her high school career.

Jackson Frederich | Football
Jackson put together an impressive all-around performance with 96 rushing yards and two touchdowns on seven carries, a 43-yard reception, five tackles, five assists and two pass breakups.

THANK YOU TO OUR PARTNERS

Congratulations to Isabella Rodriguez, a member of Cheer and President of the Flight Team, our Lindbergh Schools Foundation Student-Participant of the Week!

She doesn't just participate; she looks for opportunities to make Lindbergh better for the people around her. She has already made a tremendous impact this school year and is an outstanding role model for both our current students and our Future Flyers.” — Sean Erwin, Activities Director

beLieve!

At Lindbergh, we believe in our students. We believe they can set big goals, push beyond what they thought was possible and achieve greatness and success in whatever path they choose.

But success doesn't happen alone. It happens when students and coaches/sponsors work together, when we challenge each other to improve, when we celebrate progress and when we refuse to stop believing in what is possible.

Whether it's in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, in competition or in our community, we want every Flyer to know: Believe in yourself. Believe in each other. Believe in what we can accomplish together.

Because when you're a Flyer, the runway doesn't limit you. You can go anywhere from here.

ONE CREW. TAKE FLIGHT.
