🧺When your home is your favorite place, it’s easy to steward it well. Traveling is great and all, but home is truly my favorite place in the world. I want nothing more than to go home and snuggle up in my cozy house. I want my children and their friends to feel loved and cared for here. I want to steward my home well- to make it warm and inviting. To open it as often as possible to my friends and neighbors- knowing that hospitality can warm my heart more than anything.
I love our home and I love sharing my unique style and cozy charm along the way. Making our house 🏡 better one small spot at a time.

Which country should we try next?
🧺Been a longggg Summer without many posts- but this one was worth the wait. I’ve been wanting to add texture and depth to our dining room for ages and you know I’m a sucker for a basket- so when I stumbled upon an of my dreams full of unique hanging baskets I knew exactly where I would put finds!
I love this wall so much and all of my type A friends would be stressed with my lack of measuring- but I think it turned out great.
🙌Who else loves a good estate sale? I love finding beautiful pieces for my home + they are even better if I can find them secondhand. I love walking through and seeing how people lived, what they collected, how they put their personal style on things. I love the idea of giving a second life to their treasures.
If you walk through my home, you’ll find a collected, cozy space that feels intentional and comfortable. My goal is to find timeless pieces that I can use for years to come.
If you love and coffee- raising your little ones, and creating cozy spaces- I would love to have you join my corner of the internet! Come over, grab a coffee & stay awhile!
📣A little PSA for my fellow homeschooling moms who have found themselves green with envy over the past month. Remember there is no “right” way to educate your children. You chose this path for the autonomy it provides you- so why are we trying to pigeon hole ourselves again?
Be confident in yourself! As long as you are teaching your kids, you are doing just fine.
🦖Today’s GYLT adventure lead us on a prehistoric journey of epic proportions! Conrad is obsessed with dinosaurs and begs one out of us (and his grandparents) any chance he gets- they are the one toy he plays with consistently and genuinely loves so it’s hard to put a limit on them, until it’s time to organize his room! 🦖
Today was survival of the fittest & many dinosaurs have gone extinct! Feeling so much better about the rooms we have gone through- I’ve been able to donate so many things & create realistic boundaries when it comes to the number of toys we have in our home! Tomorrow we are continuing this series and heading to the biggest challenge yet- so stay tuned as I tackle my “office”
Let’s be real, fellow homeschool mamas: when your dining room is the classroom, “back to school” means your entire house is high-traffic 24/7. There is no sending the clutter away on a school bus! 🚌❌
Between the watercolor spills, pencil shavings, and endless snacks, our learning space can go from “organized chaos” to just plain chaos real quick.
That is why my ultimate homeschool hack for a fresh start this season is my Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day routine. 🍋🌿
From multipurpose spray to the little moments of aromatic reset after washing your hands- Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day is the ultimate back-to-school hack- available Target
🏡 Sunday Reset GYLT edition. GYLT- a series where I take you along as I declutter my home- making room for more cozy calm & allowing me to become the thermostat of my home instead of an overstimulated mom!
I’m determined to declutter every room in my home & my closet was one I was dreading- Becoming more concious of what I’m putting on my skin has motivated me to thrift a lot of 100% natural fiber clothing but I have held on to a lot of synthetic fiber pieces that I haven’t worn in years- it’s time for those to find a new home!
If you’re like me a struggle to purge things because all you see is wasted money- I’ve been reselling some of my things on and have actually really enjoyed the platform- I sell things for very cheap- but mentally knowing I’m making “some” money has really helped me let go of things- and don’t worry- I’ve donated a TON of things as well
🏡I’m often asked why I chose to leave my Chiropractic career and stay home with my children, but to be honest- it never felt like I was choosing. As soon as I had Cora, my entire life shifted and it was my main goal to stay home with her, to never miss a snuggle, a late night, an early morning with her. It was just something I knew I had to do. Now I’m not saying it’s all sunshine & rainbows- or that I don’t have guilt about leaving a career I had worked so hard to build- but I know in my heart that I’m right where God wants me- that he blessed me and equips me for this path and that is all I can ask for.
So if you’re new here- I invite you to my corner of the world- where we are loving the Lord, nurturing our families, and creating cozy moments in the in between.
