Heartland HOUSED is excited to announce the launch of the FUSE Pilot program in partnership with Springfield Memorial Hospital and HSHS St. John's Hospital. The program will work to bridge healthcare and housing services for individuals experiencing homelessness with frequent interactions with emergency services.

We are hiring two Complex Care Specialists and one Street Outreach Specialist. Learn more at the link in the comments.

If you have recently lost your SNAP benefits, Illinois has launched the FRESH Program to help eligible families. Click below to learn more.

Illinois is launching the Families Receiving Emergency Support for Hunger (FRESH) program to help eligible Illinoisans who lost SNAP benefits due to recent federal work requirement changes.

Beginning August 1, eligible individuals can automatically receive a one-time $400 benefit per eligible household member – no application required.
