Emily received the game MVP from the championship game Sunday, picked by the other teams coaches! Emily was pulled into the circle from the outfield near the end of the championship game when the team needed one more out. It was a tough game and full team effort. Emily also hit a double in the following inning!

Rae received the MVP award from an umpire during a rough game last weekend. She hit a walk off triple in extra innings to win the game and she went to work in the circle for her team the whole game!

Big accomplishments this weekend for the team!

Arkansas State runner up has a nice ring to it 💍🥈
Went 1-0-1 in pool Saturday morning, straight into bracket play as the 2nd seed Saturday evening. Ended up in the losers bracket earlier than we’d like but the girls showed up big when it was needed most!
A 70 minute game turned into a 2 hour and 13 min game with two extra innings for us to pull off a walk off win over Legacy hit by Olivia💜
No matter the adversities in that game, the girls didn’t give up!
Started the next game in a hurry behind schedule, half way through the game it was delayed due to weather. Game resumed this morning right where we left off. 35 mins left, runner on 1, no outs, 2-2 count at the plate, we were up 3-0. We found ourselves back in an extra inning and this time Raelyn hit a walk off triple to right field sending us to the championship game 💜
We ended up coming up two runs short with time expired in the ship but at the end of the weekend the growth, resilience and determination from this team is something big to be proud of.
