2-0 start in pool play yesterday lead to a night on the lake and boat rides with Captain Kevin!

Still a long road ahead but the girls are having a blast! Ready to try and keep it rolling today!

All season long the girls have found ways to not only push but exceed their limits. Their hard work and growth from day one to now has been nothing short of exceptional. Win or lose, we’re blessed to watch them leave it all out on the field these next three days.

Time to go get it done!

Last team workout before we head north to OKC this weekend, and we were excited to have it at Diamond Impact Training Center! Thank you for having our group and helping our girls get some reps.

Not sure what was better, the quality of the facility or the swag bags the girls were gifted from our families. Too close to call!

Ready for a fun weekend ahead!!

Your girls battled the best of the best this weekend and ended it as the 9U USFA TEXAS STATE CHAMPIONS!! It truly took all 10 of our girls stepping up, with each having multiple clutch at bats along with strong glove work in the field! The pitching staff never wavered and carried us through bracket play with some outstanding competitiveness that showed up the most in the biggest moments.

The championship game revealed the grit these girls have, when after giving up 4 runs that broke a 1-1 tie, with a rallying cry of “who cares” they immediately answered with 5 of their own to take back control. Three different pitchers got huge outs in that final game, it was simply incredible to watch.

We were also able to move the girls around quite a bit this whole weekend with 7 different players getting pitching time in the circle.

This weekend was a success in every way you could measure it.

Back at it this weekend and ready to give it our all in the USFA Texas State Championship.

Clear eyes, full hearts - YOU KNOW!

In true Maverick fashion, your SI girls took us on a wild ride this weekend and finished 2nd at the Texas Top Gun in Beaumont! All three facets came together with incredible pitching, reliable defense, and consistently good at bats up and down the lineup.

The biggest highlight was the semi-final where after giving up 4 runs in the top half of the last inning, the girls answered with 4 of their own in the bottom half to walk off a strong Firecrackers team. Truly a full team effort!

Special shout outs are in order for Maddie Perry and Taylor Tempo for both eclipsing 100 strikeouts in the circle this spring! They even happened to hit that mark in the same game! Great achievements by both of those girls that are a result of all their hard work and effort.

The girls also enjoyed wearing pink on Sunday for their moms. We’re blessed to have such a supportive group of moms who cheer for each kid as if she was her own, and are there for them through all of the ups and downs of a long softball season. We hope all of the moms out there had a great Mother’s Day!!
