Two of our Firecrackers showed out today at the SHSU Softball camp, grabbing 2 of the 3 awards handed out to the 12U group.
They were recognized for hustling and as MVP.🏆
During the scrimmage, they had multiple great plays including a diving catch!

🔥MSM WEEKEND

This past weekend was about more than the scoreboard. It was an opportunity for our girls to come together, compete with athletes they may one day play alongside in high school, and gain experience against different players.

A few standout numbers from the weekend and the schools represented:

🧡Clark Intermediate 💙

Kendyl — Posted a standout offensive weekend with a .556 batting average, .667 on-base percentage, 1.556 slugging percentage and 2.223 on-base plus slugging. She recorded 5 hits, including 2 home runs, 5 runs batted in and 5 runs scored, while hitting .667 with runners in scoring position. Defensively, she added 12 putouts and 1 assist.

Braelynn — Put together a strong all-around weekend with a .375 batting average, .615 on-base percentage, .500 slugging percentage and 1.115 on-base plus slugging. She added 4 total bases, 2 runs batted in, 5 walks, 4 stolen bases and 5 runs scored, while hitting .500 with runners in scoring position. Defensively, she recorded 2 putouts and 8 assists.

Cora — Made an impact in multiple areas, scoring 4 runs, drawing 1 walks and stealing 1 base. She also contributed in the circle with 2/3 inning pitched and 2 strikeouts, while adding 7 putouts defensively.

Dylan — Finished the weekend with a .333 batting average and was perfect on stolen base attempts, going 3-for-3. Behind the plate, she caught 6.1 innings and allowed just 1 passed ball.

Kora — Delivered a strong weekend in the circle with 7 strikeouts and a 1.28 earned run average. She was also flawless defensively, recording a 1.000 fielding percentage while playing shortstop and second base.

Great experience. Different competition. New connections.

Hadleigh brings speed, athleticism, versatility, and a strong defensive presence to the team. She recorded 21 putouts and 21 assists, contributing to 42 defensive plays while making an impact across the infield and outfield. Her ability to cover multiple positions and stay involved in the action makes her a valuable and dependable part of the defense.

Offensively, Hadleigh consistently found ways to get on base and create pressure. She finished with a .434 OBP and .697 OPS, along with 14 hits, 29 runs scored, 19 walks, and 32 stolen bases.

Her speed, defensive versatility, and ability to create opportunities make Hadleigh an important all-around contributor.

Cora brings offensive production, speed, and a strong defensive presence to the team. She finished the season with a .404 batting average, 23 hits, 18 RBIs, 28 runs scored, and 37 stolen bases.

At first base, Cora recorded 71 putouts and provided a dependable target for the defense.

Defensively, Ansley contributed heavily in the outfield while also providing versatility around the infield.

She also contributed as a catcher by helping control the game and working to limit opportunities for opposing runners. Charli’s strong glove, versatility, and steady presence make her an important part of the team.
